- NMNituya MayeJun 17, 20261.0I went under contract in July…I had to have my taxes amended and unfortunately the IRS timeline was not on my side. My loan ended up being denied and now Stanley Martin is refusing to return my 5000.00 earnest money even though they recieved my denial letter months before closing. Stanley Martin has just taken hard earned money from a serious buyer. The taxes ended up being done a month later; that may have been God saving me from buying from an inconsiderate builder that won’t even answer the phone after all the evidence go to show that it was completely out of my control. The sales manager Kita is very hard to work with as she tries to over talk the buyer and realtors. I reached out to Kevin Leonard’s and I gave him everything he asked for to show that my loan was unable to close and hr stopped answering my phone calls. This is not how you treat hardworking individuals that is trying to provide a home for their families
