- RMRick MathisonJul 23, 20261.0A Mauldin Trash Truck Driver was blocking access to the driveway of my home yesterday. I asked the driver to move over or back up so I could get in my driveway and he refused. He said he wasn't moving and I would have to backup. He only had to back a few feet on straight road and I would have to back into a blind curve. By this time their customer came out yelling so I tried to back up and instantly a car came around curve blowing their horn. The driver, his assistant along with their customer started laughing out loud. I then had to pull my side mirrors in and drive through the ditch around the Mauldin Truck to get home. I never leave a bad review but this incident deserved it. Before this incident happened there has been an ongoing problem with them leaving the trash cans out in the road where cars have to drive around them. One of the cans interferes with access to my driveway. The Mauldin driver told me his truck was bigger than mine so I guess that means they own the road.

I also live off of Cove Rd as another reviewer here mentioned and they have failed to pick up the garbage for weeks in a row on time and when you call - it's basically that's too bad. They were very rude to me on the phone and I now see why they have a low rating on here. Do NOT do business with this company. The customer comes last with Mauldin - no apologies just too bad we didn't do our service for you even though you have paid for them.
