  When checking on the continuing effectiveness of a previous stabilizing job, the AquaGuard inspector identified an additional area of the foundation of the house that was settling, showing us the laser reports and recommending the installation of piers to support the foundation. We also accepted his recommendation to completely encapsulate the crawl space and install a dehumidifier. When JD and Jay arrived to begin the work they explained what they were going to do as well as the timing of the job. They continually kept us informed on their progress and didn't hesitate to show us their work. They were polite, diligent, knowledgeable, and maintained their time schedule. When they left the premises, everything had been cleaned and returned to its previous state. I highly recommend AquaGuard Foundation Solutions.

  This review is for my experience with the inspection process and the inspector. Jay Gaines is the type of inspector/salesperson I prefer to work with. He did not try to drag the process or presentation out like some of the different inspectors/salespeople from various companies I’ve had to interact with lately. He was quick and to the point while also making sure to be thorough and to ask me multiple times if I had any questions. I have been really worried about my home’s foundation, and what I would find out at this appointment. Jay’s informative, professional approach took so much stress off of me, and left me feeling reassured about the stability of my home, and about my future in it. Thank you Jay!

  Great experience with the East Point AquaGuard team! They encapsulated my crawlspace in August and completed it in one day - even after someone brought additional materials out because they didn't have everything needed. After about 1 month of having the encapsulation completed and the dehumidifier running, we have noticed a significant decrease in humidity in the house as well as increased efficiency from our main floor HVAC system. I highly recommend the AquaGuard team!!!

  I selected AquaGuard because the sales pitch and presentation seemed very professional, modern, and well explained. However, the repair process that was sold was not the process that was actually used. For example, install videos and engineering documents show the piers being installed to a certain specification, but the foreman stated he was not able to install it just as the engineering documents showed. It was “how he always does it and it works.” After getting ahold of the supervisor and getting engineering involved, it turns out the engineers did NOT sign off on the repairs as first attempted. What if I had not gotten involved? Would the entire job have been done incorrectly? Does engineering ever QC the job before it’s finished? It would appear not. Another example is that the lifting of the house was supposed to be all at once, with multiple hydraulic jacks working in unison. Again, the foreman stated he typically uses a singular bottle jack and only lifts one jack point at a time. This puts an immense amount of stress on individual points of the slab and did not match the install job process that was sold. If your actual install is different than the install that was sold, then stop selling it as that. It’s misleading and dishonest. Lastly, the amount of times I had to get involved to correct their “shortcuts” to ensure they did it correctly and in accordance with engineering specs was frustrating. I felt like I was babysitting the crew - and I spent $25,000 to do it. Maybe I should have gone with Anglin’s Foundation for the repairs. It would have been cheaper and I probably wouldn’t have had to babysit them. The crews were very nice and in the end willing to “make it right,” but why am I correcting their mistakes and having to get supervisors and engineers involved? I expected more form a 5-star review company.

  I was having some moisture issues in my crawl space and basement, so I reached out to AquaGuard to get an estimate. Not only was the salesperson, Chance P., right on time, but he was also extremely knowledgeable and professional. As a first-time homeowner, I’m not very familiar with the process of dehumidifying a home or maintaining proper moisture control. Chance took the time to explain everything thoroughly and answered all of my questions. I left the appointment feeling very confident in the work they’re going to do.
