I was very pleased with the glass service provided by Any Glass. The initial consultation was seamless and the installation provider was very professional and efficient. Other glass companies said they couldn't provide glass for my custom door but Any Glass got the job done!

We've done 4 showers with them and each one came out great. Highly recommended.
Tempered glass is a safety material created through a process that occurs after the glass has been cut. This process strengthens the glass surface against impact and causes it to break into small pieces that are less likely to cause serious injury. However, it's important to note that the edges and corners of tempered glass become more sensitive to impact after the tempering process.
What kind of glass should be used in cabinet doors?
For most typical cabinet doors, we suggest using glass with a thickness of 1/8 inch. If the door is unusually long, we might recommend thicker glass, up to 1/4 inch. In some cases, tempered glass may be advised for added safety.
What kind of glass should I use for glass shelving?
For glass shelving, we generally recommend glass thickness ranging from 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch. The specific thickness will depend on the size of the shelf and how it will be supported.
Can you put a plate groove into the shelving glass?
Indeed, we can arrange for plate grooves to be added to shelving glass. We work with a vendor who can create these grooves through a sandblasting process.
What thickness of glass do I need for a glass table top?
The thickness of glass for a table top depends on its function. For protecting an existing wood table, we recommend at least 1/4 inch thick glass. For longer tables or those with a slight bow, 3/8 inch thickness may be necessary. If the glass will be the actual table top, sitting on pedestals, we suggest a minimum of 3/8 inch or 1/2 inch thickness. While 3/4 inch glass is available, it's extremely heavy and we can't guarantee the base's ability to support it.
Do I need tempered glass as a table top?
Tempered glass is recommended for outdoor patio tables, tables near pools, or in commercial spaces. It's also advised if the glass will be the actual table surface without support. However, if you're protecting an existing top, non-tempered glass might be better. While tempered glass breaks into tiny, less harmful pieces, these can damage the surface you're trying to protect.
Only 1 side of my window is broken, can I just replace that piece only?
Unfortunately, replacing just one side of a broken window isn't possible. When one side breaks, the window loses its insulation. Replacement units are ordered as sealed units from the manufacturer, complete with any applicable grids between the glass panes.
My window is Low-E. Will the replacement look the same as the other windows?
While there are many brands of Low-E windows, we offer two tints that typically match closely with most manufacturers. Cardinal 270 and Vitro Solar ban 60 are lighter tints, while Cardinal 366 and Vitro Solar ban 70XL are darker. In our experience, any slight difference in color is usually not very noticeable.
How can I get a quote on window or insulated glass replacement?
For a preliminary quote, please send us photos of the window from both inside and outside views via text or email. Include rough dimensions of the visible glass in the frame (not the entire window) and the address. Also, specify how many windows of that type need quoting.
Is there a charge to have a technician over to measure?
There's no direct charge for measurements if you complete our preliminary quote steps first. If the initial estimate is acceptable, we'll send someone for precise measurements and a final quote. Alternatively, we offer a $190 service to assess all windows in your home needing replacement, which is fully credited towards your eventual order.
What is the standard thickness for mirrored glass?
Mirror thickness depends on the application. A 1/8” thick mirror is commonly used for cabinet doors, interior cabinet panels, and certain framed mirrors. A 1/4” thick mirror is recommended for larger or more demanding applications such as gym walls, vanity mirrors, backsplashes, and select custom-framed mirrors.
In some cases, mirrors are also used as tabletops to cover damaged or worn surfaces, with thickness selected based on size and support requirements.
