We have had several companies come by and the first one messed up our ac unit. After getting several estimates for new systems, we realized we could not afford it. Bruce with Energy Savers came by to give us a second look on the compressor. He found that the compressor was wired wrong, contact was bad as well as the thermostat. He repaired all that and replaced Thermostat and we now have air again. I know we will eventually have to replace our old system and when we do Energy Savers has our business. We thank God for Bruce and Energy Savers.

I was scheduled for a bi-annual maintenance. I called the day before to confirm my appointment. I was seen during after-hours because I had a/c issues and turned it off with 90• temperatures. I have a membership and wasn’t charged because maintenance would’ve prevented it. I stopped allowing my home warranty company to send an HVAC tech when I began my membership with Energy Severs because it’s my belief Energy Savers techs don’t try to overcharge or charge unnecessary fees, they have well-trained and background checked technicians, and there response time is great. Once you have quality HVAC technicians, keep them.

I cannot say enough about Thomas, Terry Scott , Chris and Kaysee. I had a new air conditioner installed and was having issues regulating my temperature. They came out every time I called within the day or the next morning. They finally resolved my issue, which had nothing to do with the air conditioning, but the contractor that built my house 25 years ago. I can’t say thank you enough for all the effort that they put in to resolve this issue for me. I will always recommend energy savers. Again, thank you all so much.

Although the technician was prompt and polite, this company is REALLY overpriced. The service my air conditioner required was only a capacitor; approx. consumer cost: $25.00, but probably even cheaper for the company.
I was charged $327.00 to replace a $25.00 capacitor! Total effort involved for the technician was about 1/2 hour or less. $99.00 of the cost was for them driving a few miles to my house!
My friend had offered to replace the capacitor for me for his cost of $20.00, but the Energy Savers technician just replaced the part without giving me an estimation of the cost first or asking me if I wanted to pay $327.00 for a $25.00 part!! So I had to pay the outrageous price. (I was inside the house working and was readily available if needed).
I don't mind paying for the service call and a reasonable amount for the repairs, but $327.00 ($300.00 minus the cost of the part) for 1/2 hour of effort is ridiculous.
I called to complain, and they refunded me the service call of $99.00, so I ended up paying $227.00 for the repair. Still too much in my opinion. (I wish I had let my friend do it for his $20 capacitor cost).
The way they bill is also deceitful- the cost of the part needs to be listed separately from the cost of the labor, so you know what you are paying for. If the part costs about $25.00, then I paid more than $200.00 for 1/2 hour of labor, which means they are charging $400.00 per hour for labor! NOT a low cost company.

UPDATE BELOW:Used to be satisfied with service, but today (5 June) a tech came out to do annual services, said he saw no issues, but upstairs unit will not turn on. Called Energy Savers immediately and couldn't get him back out to troubleshoot (only left about 10-15 before I called). Couldn't, or wouldn't, get someone out today. Put me on the schedule for Saturday with no estimated time (thanks for ruining my Saturday). All these issues AFTER asking me to reschedule my previously scheduled appointment so their techs could focus on people without A/C. Guess it is only the customer that needs to bend over backwards.
No comfortable sleeping tonight.
UPDATE: Technician came out the following day (Saturday) and got to work troubleshooting the system for issues. He discovered, and corrected at least 3 issues he found that should have been caught the day before during my seasonal maintenance. A couple were potential fire hazards. He got me up and running with additional piece of mind that my house shouldn't burn down.
Only 3 stars due to the fact that I paid for services that were not done to standard the day prior.
