I used comfort zone heating & cooling last year, Noah came out to my home in Canton Georgia & did an awesome job on one of my units. I made a good review last year and this year I am leaving another good review on my wife’s Google account because my other unit had a similar issue & again Noah came to save the day. I trusted him to do the work without me being home, & to give me a fair and honest price. I would recommend comfort zone heating and cooling to anyone in the area looking for a similar repair.

I had a clogged drain line that I couldn't get unclogged myself, so I called Comfort Zone out to take care of it. Jacob was extremely polite, courteous, and professional. He did a fantastic job with the inspection, diagnosing, and explaining of what was most needed, along with what other options I had and how much everything would cost. It's hard to say I "enjoyed" an HVAC system technician visit, but he made it as easy, painless, and timely as possible. Thanks Jacob and Comfort Zone.

This is our second time using Comfort Zone. Their communication is exceptional, very professional, and their techs are knowledgeable. They are our first stop for all of our Heating and Air needs and I cannot recommend them more highly. I was able to call them and immediately speak to a representative and was put on their schedule quickly.
Frequently Asked Questions About Comfort Zone Heating Cooling Plumbing
How long do heat pumps last in Georgia?
Heat pump systems typically have a lifespan of 10 to 15 years in Georgia, depending on usage patterns and maintenance practices. When repair frequency increases or system efficiency declines, replacement often becomes more cost-effective in the long term.
How long do ductless mini splits last?
Ductless mini-split systems generally operate effectively for 12 to 15 years with regular maintenance. Systems that are well-maintained and cleaned regularly may even exceed this expected lifespan.
Why is frost forming on my heat pump?
Frost formation on a heat pump often indicates issues with airflow, low refrigerant levels, or a malfunctioning defrost cycle. Our technicians can quickly diagnose the problem and typically perform repairs on the same day.
How can I keep repair costs low?
To minimize repair costs, regular maintenance and prompt attention to minor issues are crucial. Addressing problems early often results in more affordable repairs. Our Comfort Club membership program facilitates consistent maintenance for your HVAC system.
Are there any short-term ways of improving dry air until my central humidifier is installed?
While awaiting central humidifier installation, temporary solutions for dry air include using room humidifiers or air-drying laundry indoors. Placing shallow containers of water around your home can also help increase humidity levels. These methods, while not as effective as a whole-house system, can provide some relief in the interim.
Are there ways to keep my home warm while waiting for a furnace repair?
During furnace repairs, safe heating alternatives include properly maintained fireplaces, wood stoves, or high-quality electric space heaters. It is crucial to avoid using appliances not designed for indoor heating, such as kitchen stoves or camping equipment, due to fire hazards and toxic fume risks.
I see you have a residential maintenance plan. Do you offer one for businesses?
Currently, our maintenance plan is exclusively for residential HVAC systems. However, we emphasize that regular maintenance for commercial HVAC systems is equally important for optimal performance, reliability, and longevity, potentially reducing unexpected breakdowns and costly repairs.
How often should I have maintenance done on my furnace?
Annual preventive maintenance is strongly recommended for your heating system. Regular servicing allows us to identify and address minor issues before they escalate, ensuring optimal efficiency and extending the lifespan of your system. Even occasional maintenance is beneficial, providing safety checks and performance tune-ups.
I'd like a heat pump for efficiency, but it's not in the budget. What would be the best furnace for me?
While heat pumps offer excellent efficiency, their initial costs can be prohibitive. Fortunately, modern furnace technology has advanced significantly, offering various high-efficiency options. We can assist you in evaluating different furnace models to find one that aligns with your heating needs and budget constraints.
How often does an AC system need to be replaced?
The replacement frequency for AC systems depends on factors such as age and maintenance history. Modern, efficient systems with regular maintenance may last 15 to 20 years. Older systems typically have a lifespan of 10 to 15 years. In all cases, consistent annual maintenance is key to maximizing system longevity.
