I always pay in advance. But got lousy service. I repeately had to call them because no one came to pickup the garbage. They are very unreliable and not once was I compensated for for no shows. Im paid up till end of month but informed them I wouldn't need their service anymore after another no show and still had 2 more pickups. Was even told in email which im keeping yes you have 2 more pickups, Guess what folks again no one picked up and the best part we saw their truck go right past our house. I've heard every excuse. We put our garbage out early in the morning and the latest was driver went by and it wasn't out. LIES! It's always out before 7:30 am because I have to be at work at 7:30. Dont use them save yourself some money they want 40 dollars a month and limited bags. another service is only 25 a month unlimited bags and will even take cardboard boxes. Call Hardin garbage my neighbors sat they are very dependable. Great service and super nice people.

We have been customers of Tony’s over 2 years now and have absolutely no complaints. They are here every Thursday morning without fail. The drivers are very courteous and competent. I highly recommend them for your sanitation needs.

⭐️⭐️. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! Tony’s Garbage We’re new to the Blairsville community and recently transitioned from suburban life (Lawrenceville) to mountain living — critters, elevation, and all. We were fully prepared for lifestyle changes. What we were not prepared for was paying $40 a month for a trash service that functions more like a psychological experiment. Week one: They picked up our trash. Great start. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ vibes. Week two: We used thick, heavy-duty lawn bags (because mountains + animals). The bags were half full, contained some cat litter (we have a couple cats), and — important detail — I carried the bag down the driveway myself. I am a 43-year-old woman. Middle-aged. Alive. Not a powerlifter. Not enhanced… aside from a little peptide optimism. They left a note on the bag: “Too heavy.” Fair enough. We laughed. We adapted. We complied. Week three: We split the “offending” bag into two bags, each now about ¼ full, plus our normal two bags. Four bags total. All light. All neat. All ready. They left all four bags with a new note: “Too many bags.” So… to recap: • One bag = too heavy • Two lighter bags = still wrong • Four light bags = unacceptable • Trash picked up = zero At this point, we’ve paid $80 and received no trash service, just handwritten notes like we’re being graded by a very confused substitute teacher. We even drove by the business location and noticed large trash trucks parked with trash spilled everywhere, which — while on-brand — didn’t exactly inspire confidence. I completely understand that trash collection isn’t glamorous. I understand things happen. What I don’t understand is why we’re paying for a service that refuses to take trash regardless of how we present it. Now I get to: • Pay for trash service • Haul trash to the dump myself • Learn the emotional weight limits of lawn bags If you’re looking for a mystery-based trash experience where rules change daily and compliance guarantees nothing, this might be the service for you. If you’d like your trash… removed? Results may vary.

I wish I was treated the same way the other reviewer was treated. Sorry to say I was not. I was a customer. Paid my bills and so be it. I hope every future customer gets treated like the other person and not myself. I have met the owner and I think he's a good person. The office maybe had a bad day. There are ways to handle things. I had no complaints until now. The sad part is I offered to take the garbage to them and customer service wanted to charge me for that. The driver wiped out my fence and it's completely inoperable. I brought it to the owner's attention. They said they would fix it and never did. I PAID MY BILLS 100% even when I did not receive any service. They did not lift one finger to repair my fence wiped out by their garbage truck.

I’ve posted a few negative reviews through the years but decided to forgo them. Maybe a business was having an off day. So I save them for the exceptional businesses that I work with. We have been a Tony’s customer for more than 15 years. We’re treated the same way as a commercial account would be. Their workers are courteous and timely. They don’t destroy your garage receptacles and they get it done in any weather. Their office staff shares the same positive attributes and they address concerns immediately. We are Tony’s customers for life because we feel valued. Why a review for a garbage service? Imagine your life without effective waste management- Things would get nasty at your home or business real fast, then you’d appreciate those scheduled visits and the folks who make civilized living possible for us.
