  I had a very disappointing experience with Christian Brothers HVAC in Georgia. The technician did not appear to know what he was doing and showed a lack of professionalism throughout the visit. He left black marks all over our pull-down attic access, failed to properly secure the panel covering the HVAC unit, and after he left, the panel fell to the ground with a loud crash. That could have easily caused damage or injured someone. There was also a dirt dauber nest in the attic that fell out while he was working. He clearly had to have seen it, yet he never mentioned it or made any effort to clean it up or let us know it was there. Overall, the workmanship was careless, communication was poor, and I have no confidence in the quality of the service we received. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Christian Brothers HVAC.

  We’ve used Christian Brothers Mechanical for our HVAC needs since 2003, and this latest experience is a good reminder of why we keep going back to them. Our old A/C system has been struggling to keep up on really hot days last summer and this summer it has gotten worse. Robert took the time to talk me through what was going on and what my options were. He explained the issue with the old R-22 system, the low refrigerant/pressure situation, and why putting more money into the old unit probably didn’t make sense. What I really appreciated was that I never felt pressured. I asked a lot of questions — probably more than most customers — and Robert was patient, straightforward, and clear about the difference between replacing just the A/C versus doing the full system. He also confirmed the price as an out-the-door number with everything included, which matters a lot when you’re making a big decision like this. We decided to stay with Christian Brothers because of the relationship, the trust, and the way they handled the whole process. HVAC decisions can be stressful, especially when your system is barely hanging on in the heat, but they made it much easier to understand and make a decision. I’ll update after the installation, but so far I’m very glad we stayed with Christian Brothers Mechanical.
