Plumbing Express is a Metro Atlanta–based plumbing company specializing in whole-home repiping and water pipe replacement. With decades of experience serving Atlanta homeowners, we permanently solve problems caused by failing polybutylene, corroded copper pipes, slab leaks, and aging PEX systems.
Repiping is a core service at Plumbing Express not an occasional offering. Our experienced team has repiped thousands of homes across Metro Atlanta using modern, code-compliant materials, with a turn-key process that includes professional sheetrock repair and careful restoration.
In addition to whole-house repiping, we provide expert leak detection, Rinnai tankless water heater installation and service, and general plumbing repairs.
Dylan came out to troubleshoot an issue we’ve been having intermittently with getting lukewarm water from our hot water faucet. He examined our setup and explained his thought process behind his diagnosis. He quickly put in a fix and left his information in case what he put in didn’t fix things for us long term (as what we’ve been experiencing has been on and off). We’ve been using Plumbing Express for all our plumbing needs for three years now and couldn’t be happier with their service. Their technicians are courteous, knowledgeable, and provide quality work.

I would like to commend Daniel Edwards an excellent service and creative problem solving. I had a leak in the water pipe from the city to my house. Daniel was able to provide 24hr turn around on the repair but he knew how critical it was to have water in the house until then. He was able to by pass the main shut off valve and go through the outside hose faucet to ensure we had water until the rest of the team was able to finish the full job. Daniel and the team were able to complete the job as planned and finished the job by putting the dirt and mulch back that I had dug up. It was a fantastic job, we had water and our yard and flower beds looked untouched. Fantastic experience.

Do yourself a favor and NEVER use this company.
The tankless water heater descaling service is a SCAM! My water heater kept giving error code of blockage, and I had to reset it every other day. The tech Anthony recommended descaling. I was charged close to $900 for diagnosing the water heater and descaling it. It only took him 5 min to set up the descaling, the rest of the time was just waiting for the heater to flush itself.
My water heater gave the same error code the same night. I called Plumbing Express again. Another tech came, he said he couldn’t find anything wrong, he said maybe due to strong wind. He just hit the reset button, which I knew to do it myself.
I called Plumbing Express again. This time they didn’t come, and gave me $2,000 quote to repair the piping and all that.
I debated for a long time between repairing and replacing the whole system (my system was only 5 years old). I decided to call another plumbing company for second opinion. They came and found the inlet water filter being extremely dirty and blocked. They cleaned it, and now my water heater is working like new again, and the new plumbing company charged me less than $100. Cleaning the filter was supposed to be part of the annual maintenance descaling that I paid Plumbing Express to do, which they obviously didn’t do and I paid $900 for. They even mis-diagnosed and wanted me to fix the whole plumbing system for $2-3k. It is insane!
Another issue was during the first appointment of fixing my water heater, I also asked Anthony to look at my shower faucet because it didn’t control temperature very well. It was working fine besides the temperature part. He unassembled it to look inside. He said the cartridge needs to be replaced. He had to look for it and would call me back. Anthony put the shower faucet back. The same day when I used the shower, I turned the faucet and it fell off. It was very obvious that Anthony assembled it incorrectly. He came back and couldn’t put it back because the parts inside broke already. He said he would call me back about replacement quote. Never called me back. I had to call office multiple times. After that, they said the faucet is too old, there is no replacement part, I would have to replace my entire master shower system.
Not only Plumbing Express didn’t fix my shower faucet, they completely broke it. They turned a simple problem into something they would cost me tens of thousands of dollars to fix. Now I’m still living with my faucet broken off and still trying to figure out a way to fix it without breaking my bank.

Plumbing Express and their re-piping team just finished a complete re-piping job at our home and we're really pleased. Ed Torres, their operations supervisor came promptly after we made a call to learn about the process and was super thorough. He gave us the confidence that our home wouldn't be "a really touch project" as another company had told us. The first plumbers on the job were Ben and Rhett who completed the re-piping in a day and 1/2, but hours-wise, more like 2 days as they worked hard the first day to get as much done as possible. They were polite, careful and helpful, as they took the time to answer questions I had along the way. The sheetrock patching came next, and again, much faster than we expected. This company clearly has high standards for their employees and customers are truly appreciated. Because we wanted to make a change to some older fixtures, we called their service team - this keeps the re-piping guys focused on their work and why everything runs smoothly. Ivan, the repiping operations manager gave us his cell number and was awesome at handling any little issue that came up. We'd definitely recommend Plumbing Express for repiping or any plumbing problem you may have!

In my opinion, Plumbing Express is the premier company in Georgia for re-piping services. Unfortunately, my husband and I experienced two water leaks in our home over a period of 2-3 weeks. It wasn’t until the second service call that the technician we contacted from another company informed us that we had polybutylene piping in our home and that to prevent further leaks as well as to not risk further water damage in our home, we should replace all the poly pipes. We received a quote from the company that initially repaired the first two leaks. However, we would have had to hire someone else to repair and paint the dry wall damage that would occur during the re-piping installation.
As I was researching on Google about poly pipes, I came across Plumbing Express! Thank God! I reviewed their website and saw that they offered one stop shopping. Meaning, their services included re-piping the entire house, dry wall, and painting services. This was ideal! I read their reviews and was pleased with their A+ BBB rating. I called Plumbing Express to request a free estimate and thankfully, Re-pipe Manager, Ivan came to our home the very same day and provided an estimate, educated us on their services, and provided us with a detail folder of their services, piping types, and additional educational piping information. What we loved the most was Plumbing Express would repair and paint the wall damage without us having to hire someone else to do that. The estimate we were given included everything. The financing option available was certainly helpful as this was an unexpected cost but a necessary cost.
Plumbing Express did an incredible job! Their entire team was awesome, professional, and highly skilled. I cannot say enough about their Regional Manager, Ivan. His commitment to providing stellar customer service, astounding communication on the re-piping plan, what to expect, follow-up, and exemplary work ethics was very impressive. I must give a shout out to Roberto who with talented skills repaired the dry wall and painted the color to perfection. It’s impossible to know that our dry wall was every cut. We are so thankful that we selected Plumbing Express!
A whole house repipe replaces the entire water distribution system in your home, including all the water supply piping and valves. The system starts at the main shutoff valve and terminates at the emergency stop of each plumbing fixture.
How do I know if I need a whole house repipe?
You might need a repipe if you have recurring leaks, visible corrosion, or an outdated piping material like polybutylene. Repipes are the best solution when old piping materials (copper, pex, cpvc, or polybutylene) are past their service life and are beginning to fail.
What materials does Plumbing Express use for repipes?
Plumbing Express only uses high-quality brands like Flowguard Gold, Uponor, Sioux Chief, and Watts. We use high-quality quarter-turn metal body ball valves for new valves and hosebibbs.
How much time does Plumbing Express take to repipe a house?
Most repipes take 1 to 2 days for plumbing and 1 to 2 days for drywall and paint restoration.
Will my water be shut off during the repipe?
Yes, but only during working hours while the plumbing is being replaced. Water is restored to the home each evening.
Do I need to leave my house during the repipe?
No, you can remain at home during the replumb and sheetrock repair. We work room by room and use plastic sheeting to control dust.
Will you repair the drywall after the repipe?
Yes. We patch sheetrock, prime, and paint-match. We aim to leave your home looking like we were never there.
How much does a whole house repipe cost?
We provide free in-home consultations and detailed quotes. Pricing depends on the size and layout of your home, as well as the number of plumbing fixtures.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, we offer flexible financing options to make the repipe more affordable.
Will a repipe increase the value of my home?
Absolutely. New plumbing adds value, especially if you're replacing problematic systems like polybutylene or deteriorated copper. It’s a selling point for buyers and can speed up your home sale.
What kind of warranty do you offer?
Plumbing Express installs pipes that come with 25-year and 30-year warranty on the piping and a 10-year labor warranty.
What sets Plumbing Express apart from other repipe companies?
We are independently owned and take pride in our customer service. We offer a clean, efficient, and professional experience. We handle drywall and paint in-house, maintain code compliance, use premium materials, and restore water each afternoon during the repipe.
Do I need to maintain the new piping?
Not much. PEX and CPVC are corrosion-resistant and durable. Just avoid chemical drain cleaners and excessive water pressure.
Will pipes need to be run through the attic?
We can avoid running pipes in attics in most types of houses, except for ranch-style houses on a slab and some slab-on-grade two-story homes.
If I have a ranch slab home or two-story slab home where pipes are run in the attic space, how will they be protected from freezing?
We cover pipes with a specially constructed thermal blanket consisting of multiple layers. The thermal blanket protects the pipes from freezing and has been engineer-approved.
How will you repipe my island sink if the kitchen is on a slab?
We give customers a choice of 1) cutting and chiseling a channel in the concrete slab and running a new pipe or 2) snaking a small diameter PEX line through the existing pipe if customers prefer not to remove their flooring and disturb the slab.
Our basement piping was replaced already. Does it need to be replaced during the whole house repipe?
If this piping is in good condition and not original to a home with known piping issues, it technically does not have to be replaced. However, we do recommend replacing all the pipe to ensure consistent material and avoid potential failure points in the future.
Which material do you recommend: PEX-A or PEX-B? If PEX-B, what brand of PEX will you use?
We currently recommend Uponor PEX-A and Flowguard Gold CPVC.
Will both hot and cold water lines be clearly separated and insulated?
Yes, hot and cold water lines are routed separately, and are insulated as required by Georgia Plumbing Code, including on any hot water recirculation line and in attics (if applicable).
Will the work be done by your own staff or subcontracted crews?
All work is completed by our own trained in-house repipe crews, not subcontractors. This allows us to maintain full quality control and accountability.
How will the piping be routed? Will it avoid unnecessary wall/beam cuts?
We typically cut into walls and ceilings depending on your home's layout. We do not cut into floors.
Will all shutoff valves and faucet connections be replaced?
Yes, all angle stops (shutoff valves) and supply lines will be replaced with new quarter-turn valves and reinforced braided connectors. We also replace the main pressure regulator valve, main shutoff valve, and thermal expansion tank.
Will the pipes be properly secured to prevent movement or vibration?
All new piping is secured/strapped according to Georgia State Plumbing Code with appropriate hangers and clamps to support the piping and to minimize movement, banging, or vibration.
Does the estimate include the plumbing permit and scheduling a city inspector?
We assess a permit fee to cover the city fee and processing. We take care of applying for the permit and scheduling the city inspector. You will need someone at the home to meet the inspector.
Will we sign a formal contract including all work details?
Yes, we will send you an Interior Repipe Agreement that outlines all scope items, materials, warranty terms, and expectations for your review and signature before we begin.
Are there any hidden fees? Will I be informed of all extras before they're done?
We do not typically have any extra fees associated with the work and would discuss this with you. Any changes or unexpected conditions requiring additional work will be discussed with you before any charges are incurred.
What types of piping issues does Plumbing Express specialize in?
Plumbing Express specializes in whole house repipes for homes with polybutylene, corroded copper, or galvanized pipes using premium pipe, fittings, and valves made in the USA with a 30-year warranty.
