  Marvin was on time and effectively explained the nature of the problem and offered options to resolve, taking the time to advise of the pros and cons of the options allowing for me to make an informed decision.

  The tech was very respectful and professional. He discovered the issue that needs to be addressed and was honest. I liked him. However, I was charged exobantly for freon from Moncrief. Like 20 times its market cost. That part was disappointing.

  Everything from the sales associate, to the install coordinator, to the install team, to the install manager have been great. Really feels like a family company but they are backed by Ace Hardware. Ikesha was a very informative sales person and she quoted for the system I needed and didn’t try to oversell me on a more complex system for the single floor I needed the new system for. Jose and his team were absolute professionals and fast. Im talking a complete Trane system with indoor and outdoor unit with new thermostat install and duct work and fixing a bent outdoor copper pipe and removing the old unit in around 7 hours. I learned from Jose and team you have to be patient with a new system on how soon you expect it to be set to the temperature you desire. You have to give it time for the coolant to go through the system. At least several hours after the install is complete if you are in the summertime. Now my phone can put the digital thermostat to exactly the desired temperature. I am excited to try the system during the hottest part of the day tomorrow to really pressure test it. I am glad I found Moncrief and I am looking forward to working with them for years to come!

  Moncrief customer for 40+ years. One reason is the talented, conscientious people they hire, train, and retain. Derrick is no exception, and did a wonderful job today on problem identification, resolution, and explanation. Very pleased.

  Don't use for PLUMBING services. They sent a very inexperienced junior plumber who damaged the brand new faucet I hired Moncrief to install. They still charged me master plumber rates for a junior person who wasn't competent. OK for HVAC, but expensive and they constantly try to push service plans. This company has too much overhead (advertising and marketing) and that drives up the prices.
