    Salim came today for our regular service to check all of our systems and he was delightful, hardworking and very professional! He was thorough with his work, as well as his explanation of what he found and the solutions required to make sure our systems continued to run smoothly! Informative without being pushy and helpful in helping us make decisions! What a nice young man. Even treated us to a little selection on the piano as he was leaving! The piano is right by the door and we were talking about it because he plays and I asked him to play me a little something! My husband and I were delighted! He’s inspired me To start playing again! We continue to be very pleased with this company!

    I’ve had the pleasure of working with Ryan Bolton from Estes for the past couple of years, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Ryan is always honest, knowledgeable, and professional. He takes the time to explain things clearly without any pressure and provides straightforward recommendations you can trust. What stands out most is his reassuring approach—he leaves you feeling informed, confident, and at ease. It’s rare to find a technician who combines expertise with such excellent customer service. I highly recommend Ryan and the entire Estes team. I’ve used other HVAC companies in the past, but ESTES is by far the best. Definitely five stars and definitely recommended!!

    UPDATE in response to Estes' reply: Estes' response confirms that reclaimed R22 exists and that certified technicians can still service existing systems, which is exactly my point. Thank you for acknowledging that. What their reply does not address is this: your technician did not say the repair would be expensive or that reclaimed refrigerant is hard to source. She said it was illegal. She then physically crossed out the section on her service sheet offering to locate and repair the leak, a service your own company prints on its forms. There is a significant difference between 'this repair is costly and here are your options' and 'this is illegal, I cannot do it.' The first is an honest conversation. The second is a misrepresentation that caused genuine stress and prevented me from making an informed decision, which is exactly what you say your intention is to provide. I appreciate the response, but it addresses a complaint I didn't make. The issue was never about R22 availability. It was about being told something false, in writing, on your own form. Finally: since posting this review, no one from Estes has called, emailed, or reached out to me directly to address the leak or make this right. A public reply is not a resolution. I still have an active refrigerant leak outside my home. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Two separate visits, two deeply disappointing experiences. I want to be clear: the second technician, Cris, was polite and on time, and I wish I didn't have to write this review. This is about the Estes company and how they've trained their techs, not her personally. First visit: A technician looked at my heater and told me the whole system needed to be replaced. No follow-up email, no written diagnosis, no breakdown of what was actually wrong. Just a sales pitch. Second visit: Cris came out for an AC inspection and found a R22 refrigerant leak. She told me the refrigerant was poisonous and EPA-banned, and was leaking right outside my home, then physically crossed out the section on her own service sheet that read 'I would like to have any refrigerant leaks located, repaired, and have my air conditioner recharged with coolant,' telling me it was illegal to perform that service. Here's the problem: that is factually incorrect. The EPA explicitly allows certified technicians to service, repair, and recharge existing R22 systems using reclaimed refrigerant. It's on the EPA's own website. And here's the contradiction that says everything: they told me something dangerous was leaking outside my home, then refused to fix it and walked away. If it's truly hazardous, how is that acceptable? The answer is that the goal was never to fix it, it was to sell a replacement system. I pay for a maintenance plan expecting honest diagnostics. What I've gotten are two visits where 'replace everything' was the only option, with no written documentation to back it up. Please get a second opinion before agreeing to any major work with this company.

    I have used Estes for nearly the entire time I have been in my home. I used their services when they were only servicing heating & air. They were great so I eventually added plumbing and electrical support as they added these services. I even connected my parents to their services. Estes has been great for the support of my home from servicing, repairing and replacing air units (over 10 years), replacing a water heater, now helping me through an power crisis. Chase W. is one of their electricians and he worked diligently to diagnose and put forth a plan to get my power back to normal and safely. He stayed to assist in calling my power company and came back later to assist in the homeowner side of fixes as the power company did their side. Chase was Great. Things resolved in hours and not days. Again, Chase is great, but I've come to expect this level of attention, communication and care. I hope this is helpful. I only share reviews for experiences on extreme ends of satisfaction or disappointment. I've only had superb experience with Estes.

    very professional knowledgeable explain everything that was happening and why happened Evan O’Belmito Electrician and Ulises Martinez HVAC thanks to Estes Services for both of these Young man in a professional training five stars I also want to add on Monday, which was the following workday week. I had to get them to come back out because something triggered the electrical panel and it needs to be reset again. They glad it came out no problems no back talk they just did it and got on it and the young man that came out with Chase Willis and just like the other two guys very professional, knowledgeable, helpful listening to what I had to say very concerning, and he knew exactly what to do, and when I put that in my comments, when I called them back the second time he knew what the problem was, and then he went above and beyond to take a look at my outer circuit with my electrical panel so not electrical man with the light switch and I really appreciate that and thank you. ST I will recommend you all day long five stars to your workers.
