  Truly terrible experience with Reliable Heating and Air. The team they sent out to install a new AC unit left garbage all in my crawl space and around my yard, including chip wrappers from their lunches. They also left a hose disconnected, which then sprayed water at my floor joists for 3 days before they could get someone out to me to investigate the strange noise I was hearing. It took me six phone calls to finally get a manager to call me and tell me what they’d do to make it right. By the time a restoration team came out I had mold growth directly under my toddlers room. Absolutely do not recommend. Only giving 2 stars because they did eventually send a restoration crew out.

  My husband and I have previously recognized the amazing and courteous professional that Kamar P. is. Seeing him arrive at our door, we knew we were going to be well served again. As parents to two young children we are always looking for models of what we hope our children become and Kamar is a perfect example. I guess this review is about our HVAC maintenance which was fantastic, but seeing a young man doing a tough job - crawl space in July and in Georgia is brutal - we are choosing to prioritize recognizing the amazing professional reliable has hired. Keep up the amazing work.

  We pay monthly installments that include a service plan .our air went out on monday , we called service was scheduled for wednesday between 12 and 4 the tech showed up at 435.... now they have to order parts( how can you have a service van that doesn't have parts stocked ) we have had more issues with this unit than the unit we replaced .... i would not reccomend reliable htg & air to anyone Reuben the service tech called on Thursday said he got a blower motor from lawrenceville , mind you Chris the service managee told me wednesday that the only one available was in texas and would take 5 to 10 days to get here.. i have not heard from him since i asked him thursday am to send out portable units.....

  I had a HVAC system installed by Reliable Air about 5 years ago in my shop at my house and there install crew did a great job. I had my AC unit in my house go out on August 4th so I thought I would try using them to troubleshoot and repair the AC unit in my home. We set the appointment for them to have a tech out on August 4th between 12:00PM and 4:00 PM. My wife stayed home from work to meet them and give them access to the house. We got a call at 2:00 PM on August 4th that there technically would not make it out to work on our AC unit until the next day. They came out the next day and diagnosed the AC problem as a bad blower motor and told my wife that it would be 3 to 5 days once they ordered the blower motor for them to receive it. The unit is a carrier unit and the tech said that the blower motor is available in the next county to me to pickup but reliable was a big company and they do not allow there techs to go pickup parts and they would order the part and it would be 3 to 5 days. The tech told my wife we might want to call a smaller HVAC company and they could probably fix it the same day. It is the first part of August in the South and very hot so 3 to 5 days to get a part was not an option we wanted to endure. We called a local HVAC company after the Reliable tech left and gave them the serial number of our AC unit and they said they can come out today and replace the blower motor for half the price Reliable quoted us to change it out once they got it in 3 to 5 days. Needless to say we will never use Reliable heating and Air for any of our HVAC needs in the future. We paid the diagnostic fee and told Reliable to cancel the part order and return trip. I have learned that the bigger the company is, the less they place on providing good customer service. This review is not meant to reflect poorly on the technician that came out because he was just doing his job and following the companies guidelines. Doing without AC in Georgia with animals and kids in the house in August for 3 to 5 days is not exceptable when they no they can get the part the same day and replace it. Update to this review. After posting this review i was contacted by the Service manager and was told that he would be refunding our diagnostic fee and that if he knew what we were told by the technician he would have had the technician go pickup the part and come back to fix out AC same day. It sounds like to me that the upper management and the Techs are not in sync with each other on what the company policy is for what to do when a part is needed for a repair and they do not have it on their vehicle. I appreciate the call from the service manager and the refund of the diagnostic fee. Since they did reach out in good faith I am changing this review to 3 stars. Good news is we had another company come out yesterday and fix the AC unit. I hope this review will make Reliable Air a better service provider and if what we were told by the technician is company policy them hopefully they will make changes to make sure that a customer is taken care of in a more timely manner.

  From June 2025 We got our new system installed last year. The process of choosing what we needed was smooth and easy. The install technicians did not know how to operate the panel. I wished the rep who sold us the unit would have walked us through how to operate our panel or had us reach out to someone who could explain how the panel works. We had to figure it out on our own. From July 2026 The company is always very knowledgeable from the reps to the technicians on what kind of service you may need. They always give a reminder text about the appointment and a courtesy call when they are on their way. I really appreciate that. We had a technician come to do a service call three weeks before our scheduled maintenance. He was able to help solve the issue we were having quickly and efficiently. Now onto our scheduled maintenance. The technician Jaime Herrera was knowledgeable and efficient. He asked us what kind of filter we had for our system and we said we weren’t sure since this was the first time we had gotten it serviced for our yearly maintenance. He said he would find out but told us we didn’t have a filter for the system in there. That was a little disappointing knowing that we haven’t had a filter for a full year. I’m thankful he caught that issue and was able to find one to put in for us.
