My air-conditioning had an issue where the air handler was freezing over on the coils. I had another company that I originally trusted look first, and I was given an estimate for nearly $9,000 for a new system, and they gave me no option to repair despite being given the option to clean the coils verbally when the technician was looking at my system. It felt like a Quick money grab just designed to push me into a new unit purchase. Ultimately, when the technician left without providing us any other solutions, I knew it was time to start looking for other opinions. That is when called Rankin. They were professional and came out to take a look without using high pressure sales tactics or forcing me into needlessly financing a whole system replacement. They ended up repairing my system for under $600 and have extended the life of my system for the foreseeable future. If you're looking for a company that you can trust to give you a real chance to repair your system for a reasonable price compared to the big corporate monsters with their high pressure sales tactics, then RMS is for you. One final thing that I should mention is the fact that a lot of other AC companies try to harvest 5 star reviews to keep their rating up. They will offer discounts, and other types of things to artificially inflate their reviews. Beware of this! Don't trust the ratings of other large corporate places. There's a difference between five stars at RMS vs 5 stars vs Egberts, Hinds A/C and etc. I highly recommend Rankin.

I wasn't sure what was going on, just felt something wasn't right with the air. Mayer Air Duct Cleaning checked everything out and explained exactly what the issue was. They gave me a straightforward price for the inspection, no sneaky fees. They figured it all out fast. Honestly, I wish I'd called them earlier.

Too many times in the trades I have met dishonest and/or incompetent people. Rankin is neither of these. They are skilled professionals with integrity. Lee is the first guy I call if l have an HVAC issue.
