My experience getting a new unit has been nothing but a nightmare. Throughout all of this we came to the conclusion that this unit was left installed not working properly from day 1. We had a brand new unit NOT WORKING FOR 4 DAYS! Day 1 we noticed air wasn’t blowing strong enough inside of the house we didn’t think it was a big deal since we were told by the installer this unit was more quiet and efficient. The next day we noticed the ac not keeping up with what the thermostat was set to. Then my husband notice the outside unit had frozen pipes. We called the company and they sent a repair tech. On that day we were told that the unit didn’t come fully charged from the factory and the tech didn’t have enough refrigerant and they had to come back next day. In the morning I called and asked for an installer tech to come instead because I believed that it was an installation issue but the company send a repair tech again. More Worked was done to the unit again and we were told it was fixed. 2 hrs later the temperature was at 79! I called the company and requested to talk to a manager. They said no manager was available but they were going to send another service tech to see if I can at least have some relieve that night. After trying what he could and finally getting the installation manager on the phone we found out replacement parts were needed. I talked to Bradley the manager that promised me that the next day an installer tech was going to come with all the parts that they determined needed to be replaced. Next day comes and the installer tech does not have the parts I was promised. Luckily the last person finally knew what he was doing and we didn’t need the parts. We found out that the unit was NEVER programmed to work properly. After 4 days having to take time off from work to wait for this whole mess to be fixed, I don’t even get a call from a manager today to see if the job was finally done and the ac was working properly. This company needs way better management way better training and communication between employees. I guess they have the next 10 years to make up to me since I paid 3k for their warranty service plan.
This good review is only for FAUSTIN the installer tech that finally got my brand new unit to work today. I will be making a separate review about my experience with the company. FAUSTIN is very knowledgeable, polite, very professional. His work is clean and very thorough. If you are getting a new unit from this company request for him to do it, you won’t regret it. I wish he had been my original installer. I will also like to thank TAVARIS, service tech that cared enough to have a manager finally talk to me.

The technician was pleasant and polite.
He took time to do a thorough inspection and explained everything along the way.
The only negative review I have is that they need to work out the issues with scheduling and abiding by the 4 hour time window and not go beyond it.
The tech was Logan Scott Fabulous communication about what he was to do and then again showing what he had done Absolutely wish to have him next time for any A/C issues I might have Nice to have a true professional It gives me confidence knowing i received outstanding service and support John Faunce

I contacted Del-Air Electric & Plumbing during a bathroom remodel because I wanted a shower valve replaced. Originally, I asked about replacing the entire valve, but I was told I only needed the internal components replaced instead, and I was quoted $315. Since they were the professionals, I trusted their recommendation and approved the work.
After the plumber returned with the parts, I was then told the internals “couldn’t be removed” and the entire valve would need replacing after all — which was my original request from the start. The problem is that parts of the wall and plumbing had already been cut into before the updated pricing was discussed with me.
That’s when the quote suddenly jumped to $1,497 for a job involving roughly a $90 valve and what should realistically be around two hours of labor. I fully understand skilled trades are expensive, but a labor rate that effectively comes out to $500–$700 per hour for a residential plumbing call is hard to justify.
What made the situation worse was how quickly the pricing changed once I pushed back. The quote went from $1,497 to $1,000 after a phone call to the office, and then down again to $700 when I still declined.
That kind of pricing structure does not feel transparent or upfront. It felt more like negotiating at a car dealership than receiving a straightforward professional estimate. If the price can drop by hundreds of dollars within minutes, it raises serious concerns about how inflated the original quote was to begin with.
To be fair, the plumber himself was professional and did quality work. My frustration is with the company’s pricing practices and how the situation was handled overall.
The bathroom was already fully opened up and prepped because it’s in the middle of a remodel, so there was no demolition or wall access work required on their end. All they really had to do was handle a valve replacement.
I also currently pay this company $19.50 per month for an HVAC maintenance membership, but after this experience I’ll be canceling it because I no longer see the value.
I’d strongly recommend getting multiple quotes from smaller local plumbing companies before committing here.
