  Carlos from Alford arrived early and quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly. He is very professional and knowledgeable and did not try to repair anything that was not needed. Alford is a great AC firm we have used them for years and highly recommend them.

  Ryan was awesome! He called before coming on a Sunday and texted us. He told us that our unit needed refrigerant due to a leak. It is now cooling. We are very appreciative to have cooler air in the middle of summer. We will be looking into a new unit for the future. But for the time being we are very grateful. We would recommend Alford Air and Ryan very highly.

  I have been having trouble with the cooling efficiency of my AC unit for the past two years. The existing unit couldn’t seem to get the temperature much below 80 degrees in the summer and was running almost constantly (over 20 hours a day). My current AC service company came out to try to address the issue multiple times but the cooling did not improve. I decided to give Alford AC a call to get a second opinion. Ryan M came out and immediately found multiple issues with the system including a leaking coil. He also noticed that the AC handler settings were incorrect. After changing the settings and adding some refrigerant he had the system cooling significantly better. He noted that the system was still under warranty for parts and was able to order a replacement coil at no cost to me. Note that there was an installation cost but it was substantially lower than replacing the whole unit. One week later Justin and Ian came to replace the old coil and completed a few additional services. The old AC unit is now running better than ever and most impressively, my Nest thermostat is indicating that it is running about half as much (10 hours) as it was before the servicing. Ryan M was extremely knowledgeable and professional as were Justin and Ian. We are now getting much better cooling at half the price. I would definitely recommend that you call Alford if your AC unit is not performing up to your standards.
