    I recently visited Ferguson Industrial Supplies after calling earlier in the day to confirm availability of an item I needed for an active job. This was my first time at this location since the move. When I arrived, all service representatives were assisting other customers, so I waited nearby for my turn. After about five minutes, an employee behind the counter addressed me and asked if I needed help. I explained that I had called earlier regarding an item I intended to purchase. Instead of assisting, he pointed to a sign and said, “Do you see that sign over there? That’s where you wait.” His tone was condescending and unnecessarily disrespectful. I informed him that this was my first visit to the location and that I was not aware of the waiting procedure. Regardless, that is not how a customer should be addressed—especially someone who is simply trying to follow the process. I’m not sure how individuals are placed in customer-facing or management roles, but there needs to be a stronger emphasis on professionalism and communication. Basic respect in how you speak to customers is not optional—it’s expected. For context, I work for a large organization where this type of interaction would not be tolerated. Experiences like this reflect poorly on the company and discourage repeat business. Update May 2nd 2026 Thank you for the response. I appreciate you providing a contact, and I may reach out. That said, I think it’s important to address this here as well, since this is where the experience occurred. To clarify, I am not a first-time customer to Ferguson—only to this specific location. The issue was not a lack of understanding on my part, but the tone and manner in which I was addressed. A simple and respectful explanation would have been more than sufficient. I’d be interested to hear what steps will be taken to ensure that customers are treated professionally and respectfully moving forward. That’s ultimately what matters most. Thank you.

    I had a very disappointing experience at the Tamarac Ferguson location. The counter manager, Mr. Javier Pagan, was unprofessional and discourteous throughout my visit. His communication came across as dismissive, and when I asked for assistance with inventory, I did not feel treated with the respect or professionalism a customer should expect. Additionally, it was uncomfortable to witness the way he spoke to a coworker he was training, especially in front of customers. Overall, the interaction did not reflect well on the level of customer service I would expect for the face of the counter. I hope management addresses these concerns to improve the customer experience.

    Everything you need is there, staff is great. The online staff waits 24 hours to reply to you which is not good because the project is already done.
