  I received many quotes from other window companies. But none could come close to the price that window world gave us for hurricane windows. The other companies were more expensive & that was for impact windows (my husband is thrilled that he doesn’t have to store shutters all year).They showed up on time, place plastic over everything and drop cloths on the floor. They did everything that was promised. There were 4 installers here for the day. They worked so hard all day replacing 14 windows, many were huge. I felt bad for them working so hard in this Florida heat. I can’t even begin to explain how much better our windows look, thanks Window World! Danielle 😎

  We had DNL General, Andre's crew, and they were great. Very professional and respectful. We had six windows replaced and the whole experience was wonderful. We plan on replacing the rest of our windows in a few months. We highly recommend Window World of Tampa and also our salesman Matt. He was very knowledgeable and helpful, we really appreciated him.

  I am disappointed with my experience. I repeatedly told the sales representative that noise reduction was one of my top priorities because I live on a busy street. Based on my research, the double-hung window that was recommended is not the best option for reducing outside noise, which leaves me questioning whether my concerns were truly considered. The installation was also disappointing. The crew was very messy and careless around my landscaping. They damaged my fruit tree next to the window, ruining fruit that had been growing for months. It was upsetting to see my property damaged due to a lack of care during the installation process. I expected better communication, a more suitable product recommendation, and a more professional installation experience.

  I would give an extra half star if I could because the problem i had was not really their issue, it was a manufacturing issue, but it caused me a few months of aggravation. The sales process was smooth. No pressure. Price was good for a year. Anyone that hard sells me or gives me a price good for one day is shown to the door. I like time to think. The only issue I had is I thought I was told the windows and doors are manufactured in house. They are not. I got a quote to replace 18 windows, 3 doors and 2 sliders with Cat 5 Hurricane impact products for under $50,000 with 12 months no interest. They were $30 to 50,000 less than other brands that are well known. Installation day went well. The crew showed up at 8 and got all the work done that day. That was nice but they got tired and some of the work towards the end got sloppy, specifically the caulking. The inside of the windows looked perfect,but the outside windows and doors looked sloppy. They did paint around the doors to hide the caulk that spilled over. I felt the crew was tired and in a rush to get done rather than come back the next day to caulk and touch up. I cleaned all the windows myself. Some still had stickers that did not come off easily and I had to use denatured alcohol myself to clean them...a task they should have done. Good thing I did because I found one window that was scratched which they replaced it with no further issues. Pretty good considering they replaced 18.. This brings me to the sliders and the reason they lost a half star. The one set of sliders had a scratch in between panels on the sliding panel and scratches on the other panel. They were replaced but the sliding panel had another scratch. They eventually came out 3 or 4 times to replace that panel so I am grateful they really tried to make things right. It was just very frustrating. This project started in September and just finished today. The price I paid includes annual inspections and maintenance for 5 years...a very good value. The only downside to this product is that it is white and it is wider than aluminum window frames so cleaning is an issue. But overall, im highly satisfied with the product and service. TLDR: No pressure sales. Lower priced than most competitors. Installation could have used more attention to detail with caulking exterior doors and windows. Great service despite having issues with defective slider panel. Seem to be saving $50 a month in electricity since intall.

  Had a fantastic experience with Window World of Tampa. From start to finish, our experience with Window World was outstanding. The entire pre-project interaction went smoothly, starting with a great initial consultation with Michael. They handled everything seamlessly, including pulling the necessary permits from our local building department. On top of that, we were very pleased with their overall pricing, which was highly competitive compared to other companies. For the installation, they completed a total window replacement for our entire home, including a new slider and an entry door. The crew worked incredibly steadfastly throughout the project, remaining highly professional and friendly. We were especially impressed by Luis and his crew, who displayed true tenacity when faced with extreme challenges during the installation of our entry door. The completed job looks absolutely amazing, and we are confident everything will work as well as advertised. Well done!
