  The Hardwood Stop team do quality work at affordable prices. They have painted my house, installed floors and did custom bathrooms. Working with Kyle and the Hardwood team has been great given all the challenges of construction work.

  We hired the Hardwood Stop to install crown molding at our house. The work was completed in several phases, on time with excellent workmanship. The crew was courteous & professional. In total we spent 6,097.19 The final phase were the 2 small bedrooms & short hallway.. The estimator measured the entire area on one visit. Work was completed on the larger bedroom & hallway, June 2026. About 3 weeks later I called them to do the 2nd bedroom. This is a very small, rectangular room which was measured at 41 lineal feet total 4 walls. To my surprise they quoted 1,235.30, which I consider excessive for the work involved. Instead of their usual labor rate of 7.50/LF, they wanted to charge 16.46/LF. When I questioned this, they said it was a "minimum charge". I offered 900.00 but got no response. My complaint is that the estimator never told me about this "minimum". If I had known I could have had both rooms & hallway completed at one time instead of waiting 3 weeks to do the 2nd bedroom

  Hardwood Stop has done extensive work on our home. New floors, new kitchen and now working in bathrooms. They have been honest and responsive to our requirements. The kitchen required special attention to details and their carpentry crew was great. The floors are beautiful. Now the bathrooms are in process. Every time we hit bumps on the road Kyle was receptive and managed to bring a satisfactory product. We are lucky to have found them.

  BEWARE, hefty fee at check out for CC payment. This company is a pass with all due respect. Thank you Hardwood Stop team helping me to decide to do the job myself and save a lot of money. Your loss. If you would spend less time on reading reviews and more on how to effectively communicate with your customers you would have the job. After all this, I still wanted to give you the opportunity but it is apparent that you never wanted or needed the job. HINT: you should have taken the job, impress me and reviews can be changed does that come as a surprise? As to your fees, no contractors or store charges extra fees, airlines are notorious for that. Been in construction for 35 years. However, it was nice to meet you Miguel, thank you for coming out and answering the questions your sales rep wouldn't or couldn't.
