I have dealt with ScreenCo for many years. I find them to be reliable, honest and reasonably priced. I recently had an issue about work done and John took care of the matter promptly and to my satisfaction. It is a pleasure to do business with them. I highly recommend ScreenCo for your needs.
Our company has been in the industry for over 40 years, accumulating extensive experience since our inception.
When was your business founded?
Screenco was founded in 1978, marking the beginning of our long-standing commitment to the screen industry.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes, we provide complimentary, no-obligation estimates. These include a thorough inspection of your enclosure, checking for rusted fasteners, cable tie-downs, and proper door functionality.
What types of screen enclosures do you work on?
We service a wide range of screen enclosures including pool cages, lanais, patios, porches, and entryways. We offer full rescreening services for residential properties in Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton, Parrish, Ellenton, Nokomis, and Venice.
Do you offer full rescreening as well as individual panel replacement?
Indeed, we provide both services. Whether you need a single torn panel repaired or a complete rescreening of your enclosure, our team is equipped to handle your needs.
What screen materials do you use?
We utilize Phifer brand products, including 18/14 mesh, privacy screens, no-see-um screens (particularly effective against Florida insects), and premium polyester screens for enhanced durability.
How long does a screen replacement or rescreen typically take?
For single-panel repairs, we typically complete the work in less than an hour. Full rescreens generally require 1-2 days, with the exact duration depending on the size and condition of the enclosure.
Do you repair damaged aluminum framing or fasteners on pool cages?
Yes, we offer comprehensive repair services. This includes fixing bent or broken aluminum components, replacing rusted fasteners, upgrading to stainless steel hardware, reinforcing weakened areas, and even repainting enclosures.
Can you fix sagging or loose screens?
In most cases, we recommend replacement for sagging or loose screens. However, in certain situations, repair may be a viable option. We assess each case individually to determine the best course of action.
What causes screens to deteriorate in Florida?
Several factors contribute to screen deterioration in Florida, including prolonged sun exposure, salt-air corrosion, storm damage, pressure washing, and daily wear and tear. The intense UV rays in Sarasota are particularly harsh on older screens.
