Jay is a very involved, and hands-on contractor who works diligently to exceed his client's expectations. We love working with Jay because of his integrity and strong desire to deliver both quality and value to his clients.

- JDJohn E. DeVitoApr 20, 20205.0Jay Anderson does high quality workmanship. His subcontractors are excellent and he will not forgo the quality of his work with a lesser subcontractor. Sometimes one waits longer than anticipated for a subcontractor who is busy; but, it is worth the wait, as the job gets done correctly. Jay is honest and trustworthy. If he says he will do something, he does it. If a mistake is made, he corrects it. Sometimes he finds the mistake that is unknown to the customer, he advises the client and makes the correction. He does not cut corners or use inferior materials and he abides by all town codes and state regulations. He is a gentleman, a pleasure to work with and treats you as a client for life. Jay did a complete remodel of my condo 10 years ago and custom built my new home this past year. He is a choice you will not regret.

I have built many homes over the years as well as several commercial buildings, but this journey was probably the best that I have ever encountered. The fact that Jay and I still have a close relationship 7 years later, speaks to the integrity of him, his company, and the entire process. Building a multi-million dollar custom home is fraught with potential landmines. If you are looking for cheap, you will always get what you pay for..but if you want it done right, first find a company whose core values and principals are in sync with yours. Then even if you do have a disagreement, you will always be able to find a fair and equitable resolution. My wife and I have no regrets about allowing Edgewater Contractors to build our home on Longboat Key!
