  Comfort Climate was easy to reach & scheduled my AC maintenance quickly. The technician was on time. He did the maintenance work, explained recommendations very well and we added an air purifier to our system. We are very pleased with the technician and the prices.

  I have a maintenance agreement withTemp Drop Air (which was owned by Daniel and recently bought by Custom Climate) on my primary residence. I needed a Tune Up on the system at my rental property, before renters were arriving the following day. I had requested Daniel (whom I was familiar with) to be the tech who would complete the work. I was called personally by Daniel to ask if I was ok with having another tech do the job as he assured me I would receive the same level of service that I was accustomed to receiving from him. I reluctantly agreed. The system I have is 12 years old, however it has received regular maintenance throughout its lifetime by several companies. It was running fine and was holding temperature at 75 degrees with no apparent issue. Jade, the tech, arrived and began performing the tuneup. Within 20 minutes Jade informed me that the coil had been installed backwards in the handler, the duct work was in extremely poor condition and the compressor outside was working so hard it was registering as overload on his diagnostic equipment. Jade explained to me that the cost of repairs would almost equate to the cost of replacing the entire system. He began to try to sell me a 16k rip and replace. I explained to him that we were not prepared to pay for the cost of a new system and asked that he do his best to make the unit run as efficiently as possible until we could afford to put in a new one. Again, the system was running fine before he arrived. Jade went about completing the job and let me know that the owner had agreed to discount a new system by 2k down to 14k and that I could finance the cost. I again explained that we were not in a position to commit to that on the spot. Jade finished up, I paid the $112 fee, and we both left the condo. I returned back to the condo a few hours later (5:30) and noticed the thermostat was reading 83 when it was set to 75. The unit was not working at all. I called the office number and explained rhe situation to their answering service. I was told that Jade was the tech on call for after hours service. I requested that he come back out and get the unit operational.. I was told there would be an emergency call fee of $169 and was asked to provide my credit card to secure the appointment. I told the agent that I was not going to give them more money to fix something that wasn’t broken prior to Jade arriving.i requested that Jade or someone at least call me to discuss the situation. After 90 minutes without a callback, I called again and spoke to a different agent. I was asked all the same questions and was again asked to provide a method of payment to secure an emergency appointment. At that point I expressed my frustration with the agent and again requested someone simply call me to talk through the problem. Maybe there was something I could check over the phone? I waited around the condo for another hour and never heard from anyone. I have renters coming to an extremely hot condo they have paid for. Hopefully this gets the attention of someone in the company that will make it right.

  Andrew was great, found the issue right away, was very knowledgeable and explained the ins and outs of our new system as well as options for us to look into to help with allergies and air quality

  I love this place and I love Daniel! He has been so helpful at my place and when they are not available, I rather wait on this him and climate control for service. They never over charge, or make me feel like there is some life altering issue. It’s simple, easy, quick and most importantly efficient!
