- VCVinny C2 days ago1.0As a fellow hvac technician I had to go out to a buddy of mines grandmothers house to fix her condenser fan motor since custom climate decided to say her compressor was bad and offered either 4k to replace the compressor or 10k for a new package unit. Come to find out it was a bad condenser fan motor and the system is a 2019 and running great now. Also looked at her records and she was charged 299 for a new capacitor that was never replaced… and I can happily send the invoice and a photo of the capacitor(original) that’s in the unit. Actions like this is what gives the trade a bad name and it’s ridiculous to take advantage of a 90 year old woman.

- AAAleenaMay 1, 20261.0Horrible experience and made my problem even worse. I have a noisy AC unit and they came to install a blanket to cancel the noise which actually made the noise worse! I immediately noticed but the technician told me just try it for a couple of days and if you still don’t feel a difference we can uninstall it and issue a refund. Of course after a couple of days the noise was still there and actually even worse so I call them back only to hear that they won’t issue any refund and they won’t even come to uninstall what they did so I’m left with an even noisier unit than I started with. Absolutely deceiving and unprofessional company.
