  When it came time to replace my air conditioner, I chose Badger Bob’s and signed up for their Comfort Club, which includes the new AC system and ongoing service. At this point, I seriously regret that decision. I have had nothing but issues. My brand-new unit has already stopped working TWICE in less than 60 days. I should not be sitting in a house that is 85–90 degrees with a new AC system that is supposed to be covered through an all-inclusive service plan. I am beyond frustrated and completely over it. At this point, I’m about ready to tell them to come take the unit out of my house so I can go with another company and get an AC system that actually works. A brand-new air conditioner should not have this many problems in the first two months. I chose the Comfort Club because I thought it would give me peace of mind and reliable service. So far, it has been the exact opposite.

  I wish I could give them 10 stars! Our air conditioner and shower head went out on the same day. I called the next morning and their service guys were there within hours! Shower was a simple fix, but air conditioner was not. All of technicians and Nick (sorry I can't find the techs names) were so helpful, nice, considerate and knowledgeable. Nick even got everything set up for us to get a new unit the next morning, even working after hours to make sure things ran smoothly the next day! I have inherited our place in Siesta Key and used to ask my dad for repair advice. Badger Bobs made me feel so confident in my decisions and even answered questions after the sale so I would know how to make sure the unit stays running well. I could go on and on, but Badger Bobs is definitely the way to go if you are looking for plumbing, air, heating, or electrical work. I will be a customer for life!

  Zach was a very friendly and knowledgeable HVAC technician, who did a HVAC maintenance for us recently. He was proactive in his maintenance and relaying necessary information to me as well as walking me through the results of his work in a very professional manner. High marks for this young technician!

  I’ve had Badger Bob’s out to my house 5+ times over the past few months, and unfortunately, I’ve completely lost confidence in their service. On the first visit, their technician told me I had leaks in the coils of BOTH of my AC units and that they would need to be replaced at a cost of more than $1,500 per coil. Given the cost, I decided to get a second opinion. The other HVAC company inspected the systems and could not find a leak in either unit. I called Badger Bob’s back and had another technician come out. Interestingly, this time they also could not find a leak in either system and determined that the problem must be something else. They then turned their attention to my dampers and found one that supposedly wasn’t working. I paid to have it replaced. About two weeks later, I was told a second damper had stopped working, so I had that one replaced as well. Now, roughly two weeks later, I’m being told that a THIRD damper has failed and will cost approximately $295 to replace. After 5+ service visits, paying trip/service fees on almost every visit, and being given completely different diagnoses along the way, I am still having issues. What makes this even more frustrating is that my house is only a few years old, and the original HVAC system was installed by Badger Bob’s. At this point, I’ve lost faith in their ability to properly diagnose the problem. Being initially told that I needed thousands of dollars in coil replacements—only for that diagnosis to disappear after I got a second opinion—was concerning enough. Now, after repeatedly replacing dampers every couple of weeks without resolving the underlying issue, I’m extremely disappointed with the experience.
