There were a few things that were skipped when my new AC unit and handler were installed, but I couldn’t have asked for two better employees to come over to fix what was needed. It was free because it’s under warranty. Jerry and Omar spent 9 hours making everything PERFECT. I highly recommend asking for them when you make an appointment. They were neat, kind, informative, and precise. Thank you Jerry and Omar!!!!

Requested service on Sunday at noon, was told they would have a technician to us by 5. That didnt happen . Was notified at 5:50 that a technician had been dispatched and would be there now between 4-8. That also didnt happen. I then get a notification they would be there by 10 pm, which is when he showed up of course after we were in bed. He fixes the first unit but says someone else will have to come tomorrow for the 2nd. unit. Tomorrow comes and we are scheduled 12-4..once again pushed back until 4 and then I get a call that they aren't coming and need to reschedule..extremely inconsiderate of my time and time away from my job that THEY gave me the time window for.

Alex N and German L i swear I had the best guys ever fixing on my A. C unit, they did everything in their power to make sure that we were nice and cool during the process. I would recommend these 2 amazing guys to install or do whatever maintenance ask for these guys!!!! Not only are did they come with a smile? And it was so hot outside, they were still so very kind, answered. All my questions that I needed. And now, my house is ice cold. Just the way I like it🥰
I just canceled my maintenance plan & switched from Del Air to Comfort Zone, because ever since Del Air took over from McGowan I've had continuous issues with their service. The technician who visited today tried to scam me out of $2,300 claiming my system was freezing over due to low refrigerant/freon. Not only did they not identify a leak, but they left without closing out the appointment just because I requested a detailed estimate so I could get other quotes to compare and ensure I wasn't being overcharged. I've had to call them 3 times in the past year for minor ac issues and every visit they spent too much time trying to sell me a $20k hvac system instead of focusing on maintenence for my unit, which is what I paid them to do. My unit is only 7 years old & still under warranty. The techs haven't always been this rude, but its exasperating to deal with this type of service in today's economy. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Del Air to anyone. At this point, they're in the same position as Lickety Split and don't care about retaining their customer base.
Carlos Flores was the technician who serviced my air handler. Very nice, very good work, was done in short order after arriving and clearing the clogged drain line, something the same company had done no more than 6-8 weeks prior and obviously had not done it properly the first time. The customer service from the company itself was terrible. I took a half day from work to wait for the 4 hour window given from 1-5pm for the service call. At 4:57 I communicated with them that I had seen and heard from no one. I was told the technician could still arrive on time (3 minutes from then). At 5:40, I called again, and was told the technician should be finished shortly and would be en route but they could not provide a time. At 7:07, I called again and spoke to an automated system that called me "duplicate account", and hung up even more frustrated. At 7:56 I was finally called by the technician to say he was en route, arriving approximately 25 minutes later.
Waiting through a 4 hour window, waiting an additional 3 hours, and all without ever receiving any communication from Del Aire is absolutely unnecessary and unacceptable, especially from a company of this size. Having someone say that the technician who is supposed to call and say they are en route can still arrive on time in only 3 minutes is utterly ridiculous. Having an automated voice line and not a live person, for a company that advertises 24 hour service, a line that incorrectly identifies you, is just reprehensible. Then, to have to pay the small amount needed for the service call (because I am a member and receive discount pricing), an amount I lost in the first hour of waiting, again shows a lack of understanding for customer service. This company obviously has no office or customer service manager that knows how to communicate with waiting customers. The level of frustration over this will lead me to find a better company, even if I have to spend more money to do so.
