  We chose Hessler Flooring expecting a professional installation and guidance on proper preparation for a premium LVP product. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of that expectation. Before installation, we repeatedly raised concerns about the condition of our slab and asked what level of prep would be required, including self-leveling and grinding. We were told additional preparation was not necessary and proceeded based on Hessler’s recommendation. After installation, we began noticing flexing, hollow spots, and thudding sounds in multiple areas. We reported the issues ourselves and spoke with Hessler representatives on several occasions, but we were often directed back to the installer, who consistently stated the slab condition and limited contract scope prevented further preparation work. The installer also explained that hollow and rigid “thud” areas are a characteristic of thicker LVP when installed over uneven slabs, which ultimately circles back to the same concern: the slab was not adequately prepared before installation. Hessler did make two attempts to address issues and improved the worst areas, but other sections were deemed “within tolerance” despite still exhibiting movement and hollow sound when walked on under weight. A Hessler manager briefly inspected the floor, acknowledged uneven areas and issues, but stated the installation fell within tolerance and would be covered under warranty if future issues arise. We specifically chose a higher-end LVP to avoid these types of problems. Had we been given a clear and accurate assessment of the prep required and total cost to install correctly, we would have likely chosen a different flooring option such as tile. Overall, while Hessler did engage and make partial corrections, the communication and upfront guidance on installation requirements did not align with the final result.

  I’ve been waiting on writing this review because I was hoping this company would make good on their installation. They installed carpet tiles in my condo building almost 2 years ago. Unfortunately, the installation on my floor had too much glue and it all oozed up between the squares. Management has been trying to get them back to fix the problem, but to this day it is still unresolved and I’m very disappointed. I’m sorry I had to write this. I was glad to see you acknowledge my review. However you have NOT made multiple repairs to my situation. You must be thinking of another customer. And also I have talked to Alan multiple times and he is always waiting to hear from you. We have ordered replacement carpet squares which have been onsite for at least a month or so. and I sure hope that Emerald Point is not paying for this. You should be responsible! The glue started oozing up within a few days of installation. Very sad. 4/10/26 they finally came back to replace the carpet squares.

  Excellent experience, talk to Tom, explained different types of of hardwood, explained process Got us measure ordered and installed in about 10 days. Installers were great. Love the finish product. Highly recommended

  Had floor partially installed before Thanksgiving and waiting for transitions! Every time I call someone is going to call me back but they never do! I just keep calling and get the same information! I just want someone to actually do what they say there going too!
