I highly recommend Flo Stop Restoration based on our personal experience after our dishwasher flooded our kitchen and part of our living are...Janelle was our first contact and we dealt with her thru out the process of restoration and the rebuild --so is wonderful and handled insurance issues and our many questions and concerns...at times we dealt with the owners and they were always available to look into any of our concerns...they also have long time subcontractors that that are trustworthy and did a good job...communication is so important when dealing with nervous customers...every company should have a Janelle...I hope we never need restoration work again...but if we do, I know who to call! Thank YOU Owners and staff of FloStop!!!

FloStop Restoration did a fantastic job on remodeling our master bathroom. Chuck's Team coordinated all the trades from demolition, framing, drywall, tile work, plumbing, and electrical. All the trades came together as planned and on Time!!! My wife and I were amazed on how smooth the project was to completion. I would be happy to recommend the FloStop team for any remodel project. We have contracted them to lay carpet and paint our Master Bedroom. Call Chuck for your next project.

My closing date was approaching fast and I’d just found out that the company I’d hired to remove the mold in my house didn’t do a good job at all. I called Flo Stop. Within three to four days, the house was mold free. The inspection was passed.
They left the house better than when they first arrived. And the price was more than reasonable. They knew I was desperate and they still charged a very fair price. I hope I’ll never need to use their services again, but if the need arises, they’ll be my first call.

We came to our facility first thing in the morning and found our new roof had leaked badly in the previous nights storm. It was quite a mess and we had no equipment to deal with the problem. We called FloStop and they showed up promptly with sufficient personnel and equipment to clean up the water and left equipment to dry out the facility. Although we didn't require it, it's nice to know they are available 24/7.
Frequently Asked Questions About Flostop Restoration LLC
How quickly does Flostop Restoration respond to water damage emergencies across Southwest Florida?
Flostop Restoration provides 24/7 emergency response with on-site arrival typically within 60 minutes or less across Southwest Florida. Whether you’re in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, North Port, Venice, Sarasota, Bradenton, Naples, Bonita Springs, Englewood, Rotonda West, Placida, Lehigh Acres, Estero, Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel, Captiva, St. James City, or Alva, our team is always ready to respond. In Florida’s humid climate, water damage can worsen quickly and lead to mold growth within 24–48 hours, so immediate action is critical.
Does homeowners insurance cover water damage restoration in Southwest Florida?
In most cases, yes — sudden and accidental water damage (like burst pipes or appliance failures) is typically covered by homeowners insurance throughout areas such as Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Naples, Punta Gorda, Sarasota, and Bradenton. However, flood damage from storm surge or rising water — common in coastal areas like Sanibel, Captiva, Fort Myers Beach, Placida, and Bonita Springs — typically requires a separate flood insurance policy. Flostop Restoration works directly with insurance companies across all cities we serve to help streamline your claim.
What services does Flostop Restoration offer?
Flostop Restoration specializes in comprehensive fire and water damage repair services. We provide emergency water extraction, structural drying, smoke and soot removal, fire damage restoration, mold remediation, and complete reconstruction services. Our experienced team serves clients throughout Bonita Springs, Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Punta Gorda, Sarasota, and Naples with professional restoration solutions.
What are the signs of mold after flooding or water damage in Southwest Florida homes?
Common signs include musty odors, visible discoloration on walls or ceilings, and worsening allergy symptoms indoors. Mold growth is especially common after storms in places like Punta Gorda, Cape Coral, Fort Myers Beach, Englewood, Rotonda West, and Naples. Because mold can begin developing within 24–48 hours in humid environments, Flostop Restoration provides professional mold inspections and remediation services throughout all service areas, including Sarasota, Bradenton, Estero, Lehigh Acres, and Alva.
How long does water damage restoration take in Southwest Florida?
The timeline depends on the severity of the damage. Minor water issues may be resolved in 3–5 days, while major flooding — common in Fort Myers, Cape Coral, North Port, Venice, and Port Charlotte — can take 1–2 weeks or longer. The drying process alone often requires several days due to Florida’s high humidity. Flostop Restoration uses professional-grade equipment and moisture detection tools to ensure every property is fully dried and restored, no matter the location.
Is mold remediation required before selling a home in Southwest Florida?
Yes — Florida law requires homeowners to disclose known mold issues, and active mold can delay or prevent a home sale. This is especially important in coastal and high-humidity areas like Naples, Bonita Springs, Sanibel, Captiva, Fort Myers Beach, and Placida. Flostop Restoration offers certified mold remediation and clearance testing for homeowners preparing to sell in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Sarasota, Bradenton, Port Charlotte, and beyond.
What does fire and smoke damage restoration involve, and how long does it take?
Fire damage restoration includes emergency board-up, debris removal, soot and smoke cleanup, odor removal, and structural repairs. Smoke can affect areas far beyond the fire’s origin, impacting homes in cities like Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Punta Gorda, North Port, Lehigh Acres, Estero, Sarasota, and Bradenton. Depending on the extent, restoration may take several weeks to a few months. Flostop Restoration manages the entire process from cleanup to rebuild.
Can mold grow behind walls without visible signs in Southwest Florida homes?
Yes — hidden mold is extremely common throughout Southwest Florida due to humidity and moisture intrusion. Homes in areas like Sanibel, Captiva, Fort Myers Beach, St. James City, Englewood, and Naples are especially vulnerable after storms. Flostop Restoration uses advanced tools like thermal imaging and air quality testing to detect hidden mold in homes throughout Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Port Charlotte, Venice, Rotonda West, and surrounding areas.
What is the difference between water mitigation and water damage restoration?
Water mitigation is the emergency response phase — removing water and preventing further damage — while restoration involves rebuilding and returning the property to its original condition. Flostop Restoration handles both services across all of Southwest Florida, including Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Naples, Sarasota, Bradenton, and all nearby communities.
Why should homeowners choose Flostop Restoration in Southwest Florida?
Flostop Restoration is fully licensed, insured, and IICRC-certified, with 24/7 availability across Southwest Florida. We understand the unique challenges homeowners face in areas like Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Naples, Bonita Springs, Sarasota, and Punta Gorda — including hurricane damage, flooding, mold growth, and insurance complexities. Our local presence ensures faster response times and better service across every community we serve, from Lehigh Acres and Alva to Sanibel, Captiva, and Fort Myers Beach.
