  Came home from vacation to a broken a/c…blown capacitor. One Hour Customer Service rep, Victoria, was able to schedule my service appointment for the next day! I received a phone call and a text notification that my technician, Marcus , was enroute. The text had a photo of Marcus which I appreciated for security validation. Marcus was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and empathetic. He resolved the problem quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend One Hour to anyone in need of system repairs or replacement.

  I have now been without AC for almost 3 days, with water leaking from the ceiling, and the experience with this company has been extremely frustrating. When I first called, they explained they were busy and couldn’t come until the next day, which I understood. The technician who arrived then said he needed a ladder and would have to come back tomorrow, which was already disappointing for an AC company. Today was the final straw. I received a text saying the technician had arrived. I went outside and saw the van parked beside the building. The technician sat in the truck for several minutes without ever getting out or attempting to knock on my door. I even texted “I’m outside” in response to the arrival message. I briefly went inside to grab water because it was extremely hot, came back out, and the technician had left. When I called after I saw him leaving, I spoke with a lady & was incorrectly told they had called me before leaving, they did not. My landlord also confirmed he received no call. I told her I needed them to come today because I have been without AC & basically this wasn’t my fault, she told me they would still come today, I said “thank you” & she immediately hung up, no details, nothing. I tried calling back to speak with a manager, they were all busy. After, I called multiple times to at least get the new time window, when finally after over an hour later was told by Manny (who was very polite) that the technician actually left because he realized it was a two-person job. That explanation should have been communicated honestly from the start instead of being told they tried contacting me. I was also assured they would still return today, which ultimately was not true, meaning I now have to spend yet another night without AC. The lack of communication, transparency, and professionalism throughout this situation has been disappointing. At the very least, honest updates and basic communication would have gone a long way. I am just hoping that tomorrow my AC will be fixed and there won’t be another issue.

  NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!! I called made an appointment and told customer service that they would need access to my roof (told them twice) and they assured me that it was okay that they had, it handled, waited two hours for my appointment, never showed up. Ironically, the second it started raining I get a call that they cannot come.they tell me because of some weird form they can't come see me due to roof access, after i time then about roof access. When I called a different company and mentioned this, they told me that is a lie and they just don't wanna work in the rain. Which I've never heard of they are basically lying. Because they didn't want to work at my mom's apartment on the roof while it's raining. Now i'm out of a technician, and now I have to call another company. My elderly Mom now has no ac. Never never never never use this company!!!

  Called this company to this morning to have someone come check my dad’s a.c. He’s on a ventilator 24/7 therefore we needed someone asap. Daisy I believe her name was took my call she had top tier customer service and somehow got someone Devon to come out this afternoon. I’m thankful for this company coming out within two hours but Devon seemed like he was in a rush, and or annoyed. My dad is non verbal so my mom and I had questions he told us our unit had a leak and we need to replace it .. he couldn’t tell us where the leak was which I thought was strange and said it would be a 4-5k fix or replacement. My concern is a tech came out yesterday from another company he did say our unit was 10 yrs old as well but he had other options never said anything about a leak. Which I don’t know how Devon could make that assumption if he doesn’t know where the leak was. So we paid almost $500 for 3 gallons of free on and he told us he can’t say how long that would last and was very annoyed with us for some reason. I feel like he was trying to pushe the sell of a brand new unit and had no patience with us. My mom is elderly and he shoud have more patience with customers that have questions and be more informative. His customer service was just shy of being rude. We had no choice except to pay for the free on since my dad was in distress and has to have air conditioning for his condition. I was expecting someone to be as professional and helpful as Daisy but instead I got some guy who didn’t wanna be bothered. And we still don’t know what’s really going on with the air conditioning so we have to pay yet another company to come out and give us some answers. This is ridiculous

  I had a very disappointing experience with this company. The technician, Deangelo, came to my home and spent most of the time outside by the AC unit running a basic diagnostic. He quickly concluded it might be the compressor but also mentioned there could be other issues—yet said he wouldn’t know unless I approved an additional $450 fee upfront just to continue investigating. He didn’t inspire confidence and didn’t seem fully knowledgeable about the situation. The visit felt rushed and unproductive, and I was then charged $99 for about 20 minutes on-site without any clear answers or meaningful progress. Overall, it felt like there was more focus on adding fees quickly than actually diagnosing or fixing the problem. Although I ultimately chose to use another company due to faster service and more reasonable pricing, I am open to giving this company another opportunity in the future. My experience seemed to be more reflective of the individual technician rather than the company as a whole. Management appears attentive to customer feedback and genuinely concerned about the overall customer experience, which I appreciate.
