  An attic water leak destroyed the ceiling and carpet in an upstairs bedroom. I called Affordable Mold Removal and spoke directly with Mr. Charles. He let me know that time was of the essence to keep mold from quickly growing and causing greater problems. Mr. Charles came to the house the same day to look at the damage, and we discussed what needed to be done. He thoroughly explained the process his company would take. I received a detailed written estimate the next day. Mr. Chales had a crew on site the next day to start the remediation process. The wet drywall, insulation and carpet was removed. All unaffected contents were wrapped to prevent cross contamination. The room was sealed, and an industrial HEPA air scrubber and dehumidifier were used to dry the room. Special attention was paid to the interior framing to make sure it was dried properly. Any framing that was damaged was replaced and then treated with water resistant mold inhibitor/sealer. I was impressed with the quick attention I was given and the speediness of the repairs. Mr. Charles is professional, on time, and did what he said he was going to do, when he said he would do it. I had no issues at all and am fortunate to have found Affordable Mold Removal of Ponte Vedra Beach.

  Estone Charles and Affordable Mold are the best! After another mold remediation company (one of the main players in the mold remediation space) gave us an estimate of $37,721 packed with frivolous charges like $378 to slide our dining room furniture into the adjacent room, Estone gave us an estimate of $7,900 to address all the areas addressed in the previous estimate. The previous company required us to have an independent company create a mold report for $667 before they could give us an estimate. Estone said he would like to take his own readings because if his name was going to be on the job, he wanted to make sure all areas that needed attention were addressed. He came up with all the same areas as the $667 report for free and sent us an estimate the next business day. It took over 9 days to get the other estimate. The job was started quickly and was done efficiently. I highly recommend Estone and Affordable Mold. He is very hard-working and honest!
