  My electrical engineer husband spent 4 hours at a friends house at almost midnight undoing the poor job that a Mister Sparky electrician did with their water heater, and an entire circuit that they left with zero power with multiple breaker areas not working. They sold them their own surge protector and wired it into the panel against the NEC code. Not to mention that they installed the wiring incorrectly and my husband called to ask a basic question - what type of wire was used, a basic A or B question so he could ensure the connectors used were appropriate but they didn't answer and just wanted to send an electrician out to assess. The spec sheet for the surge protector on their own website doesn't have that information. I don't leave bad reviews and understand that there are costs to running a business but damn- a wire cap is $9 bucks, the wire replaced was less than $5 bucks, and then testing voltages, the panel and ensuring it was all working correctly is the bare minimum of ethical service. How does that add up to 4k? Even with labor, if you know what you're looking for and doing you'd never even get close to that.

  Beware EXTREME sellers!! Called was lead to believe there coming to give price and fix same person, NO, sent a professional sales person! Started out at 10k for a mobile home for a breaker box replacement 10k! 10k, Going through the routine calling manager crap to lower price 7k then 5k then bottom line after an hour, 3k, all while trying to sell all new outlets and wires, 10k really! Oh he was very polite very top notch seller for sure, I got it done by another company for 2300 hundred, it wasn't just 700 cheaper it's they started at 10k to help you? NO for your money, just like some other reviews here of this going on! All about the money pressure sales with politeness, NO THANKS

  Ben came out and did a full inspection and installed a surge protector for our home. Very professional and the work was done quickly. I highly recommend.

  I needed the breaker box for my hot water heater repaired/replaced so I could get my hot water working again, so I called Mr. Sparky. An electrician came out the very next day, and I will say he was very polite and professional. However, it quickly became clear that the focus was more on making a sale than fixing my actual issue. Instead of addressing the specific problem I called about, he performed a full electrical inspection of my home — something I neither requested nor wanted. Afterward, we sat down to discuss pricing, and he immediately began explaining financing options I had already said I wasn’t interested in. He then presented me with “should do,” “must do,” “could do,” and “today’s fix” options ranging from $2,000 to over $9,000. I decided to get a second opinion from a local independent licensed electrician. He fixed the exact issue in about two hours for $450. The same repair alone was quoted at $2,000 by Mr. Sparky. Based on my experience, it felt very much like the electricians are working on commission and encouraged to upsell as much as possible. That was disappointing, especially when I simply needed my hot water restored. Unfortunately, I would not use this company again.
