- BXBarbara xApr 27, 20261.0Would NEVER recommend this company! My 83yo mother was a loyal Duncan customer for over a decade and called because her air conditioning stopped working. The technician came out and after a couple hours told her she needed a whole new 2.5 ton air conditioning system and it would cost about $10k. I was sent a “discounted” quote to approve for a little over $8600 (because she is elderly, a long time customer and a veteran). I called another A/C company for a second opinion. The other company saw instantly it was a burnt relay. Cost$150 including labor and trip charge. This Duncan technician was either untrained or was trying to take advantage of the elderly. We reported the concerns about this tech to the company who seemed unbothered and felt the best resolve was to send a different tech. Either way we wanted to sever ties. My mother no longer trusted Duncans honesty. We asked for a refund of the prepaid maintenance and were told “no problem they would send a check by the end of the week” 2 months and 3 phone calls later still nothing. We waited to post this review in hopes they would do the right thing.

Not only are the technicians, very nice, reliable, prompt, and very capable, Wayne Has done everything, everything from replacing the HVAC in our large house with three air-conditioning systems, and servicing all the units. I didn’t think there was an honest air-conditioning company for service or for purchase, but DUNCAN AIR restored my faith completely! I give DUNCAN AIR my highest recommendation.
