If I could leave a zero-star review, I would. I called this company because they were listed as someone who services mini-split AC units. The technician came out to my home earlier than I had originally anticipated, which was great. Once he arrived, he informed me they would have to come back because it was too late and it would require getting up into my attic crawl space. I was told that somebody from the office would give me a call to schedule for him to come back and actually get up and diagnose the issue with my mini-split AC system. I never got a call. I called back the next morning, only to find out that they weren't going to be available for that day and I would have to schedule for another day, which ended up being two days later. I called around to several places but couldn't find anybody else, so I called back and eventually had them come out.
The technician came back to my house, got up into my attic crawl space, and then left again without doing any work, stating that they would need to order a part. I called the company to make sure that they were actually looking into that and that I would hear back, because the last time I was told I'd get a call back, I never got called back. They did call me back, but quoted me $1,000, stating that the part was more expensive than they originally thought. It seemed high to me, so I went to go look up what the part might cost to buy, and it was less than $200. When I called back and asked how much the part was, specifically, the customer service representative changed their tune and now was saying that they were a flat-rate company. In addition to this, they required a 50% deposit before they would do any work. This is unacceptable all together, all the way around. Initially telling me that the part was more expensive than they had anticipated and then saying that the high cost was due to them being a flat-rate company, and then requiring a 50% deposit. I would avoid this company at all cost if I were you.
