  We have had concerns with our HVAC system since purchasing our home in 2023. Over the past few months, those concerns became more serious when visible mold began developing on the plenums of both our 4-ton and 1.5-ton Lennox systems. I first contacted Sun Kool because they installed the HVAC system. While their technicians inspected the system, they were unable to identify the cause of the mold or recommend a clear plan to correct the problem. I then had AND Services evaluate the system. They recommended replacing the ductwork throughout the attic and provided an initial estimate of approximately $36,000. After further discussion, the estimate was reduced to about $24,000. Because of the significant cost and the proposed scope of work, I decided to seek another opinion before moving forward. After doing additional research, I contacted George at FL HVAC Services. From the beginning, George demonstrated a level of knowledge and professionalism that gave me confidence in his assessment. He thoroughly evaluated the system, explained the issues he found, and recommended corrective work that did not require replacing the entire duct system. George and his team completed the necessary repairs and mold mitigation. Brandon and Jimmy were outstanding to work with—professional, courteous, meticulous, and clearly committed to doing the job correctly. If you're looking for an HVAC company that takes the time to diagnose problems instead of immediately recommending the most expensive solution, I highly recommend George and FL HVAC Services.

  FL HVAC Services was honest, thorough, and professional from start to finish. Our AC system is over 10 years old and never cooled the house properly. After a breakdown, another company spent hours working on an electrical issue, got it running, left wires messy, and told us we needed a new system because the compressor was noisy. We called FL HVAC Services for a replacement estimate, but instead of trying to upsell us into a new unit or unnecessary work, George, the owner of FL HVAC Services, inspected everything carefully and found the real problem: the copper lines between the indoor and outdoor units were never sized correctly from the original installation. He explained everything clearly, including how the system was supposed to operate and why the issue was affecting performance. What impressed us most was that FL HVAC focused on helping us get more life and more years out of the system we already had, instead of pushing us to replace the unit. After they made the repairs and upgrades, the house cooled better than it ever had in the past 10 years, and the system even ran quieter. We are extremely grateful they saved us from replacing a system that did not need to be replaced. Their honesty, knowledge, and professionalism were very impressive and very much appreciated.   I hired George, owner of Florida HVAC systems, to do a leak test on the air ducts in my new house. George and his team did a great job…running a battery of tests and quickly fixing a few trouble spots. As a new homeowner, I was grateful for the time he took to teach me about my new-to-me HVAC system and how it all worked together…typical components, ducting, and special challenges for my particular house. No upselling, just practical ideas for the system that I got with the house. A lot of HVAC contractors are single focused, compressor broken…must replace. George is more holistic in his approach, pairing the right hardware with the existing framework of the house you have. I will definitely call him before any HVAC upgrade or replacement!   This company is the absolute best. Beyond professional & knowledgeable. My unit was oversized & put in incorrectly to the point we had mold in our home. It was a health risk. FL HVAC came in saw what was wrong, addressed each issue & corrected them. I can not thank this company enough.
