  Below might not be east to read, but it is extremely complimentary of Abbott’s Construction Company. They built a new sea wall at our Siesta Key Gulf front home and we couldn’t be more pleased with every aspect of the job and that extends to quality of both the work and the workers, starting and finishing on time, communication with management and cost.

  My experience with Abbot Construction customer relations was extremely disappointing. Communication was poor, responses were slow, and when we did receive replies, they were often unhelpful or dismissive. For a company that operates in a service-driven industry, the lack of professionalism and accountability was surprising. Instead of working toward resolving concerns, the process felt frustrating and unnecessarily difficult. Basic follow-up and customer care seemed to be lacking, which made what should have been a straightforward interaction much more stressful than it needed to be. Customer service is a major part of any construction project, and unfortunately my experience with Abbot Construction’s customer relations fell well below expectations. I hope they take steps to improve how they communicate with and support their clients going forward.

  We hired this company to perform the demolition of our home. What followed was one of the most unprofessional experiences we have ever had in a construction project. They represented one scope of work to our builder and then delivered something materially different. When the discrepancy was raised, instead of addressing the issue or standing behind what had been communicated, they hid behind selective contract language and refused accountability. Even more concerning was their conduct regarding access to our property. When they could not remember the gate code, rather than contacting us, they attempted to force entry by driving into our fence. The fence was damaged in the process. It was never repaired, replaced, or reimbursed. This was not a minor oversight. It demonstrated a complete disregard for property, communication, and professional responsibility. The result of their performance created significant disruption to our project and eroded trust across the build team. If you are considering hiring this company, document everything in writing, confirm scope line-by-line, control access to your property personally, and be prepared to enforce accountability. We would not hire them again.

  Everyone I dealt with at abbotts was very friendly he conducted themselves with the utmost professionality.I would recommend them to anyone who is in need of their services.
