  Our initial install or a whole home water filter and under sink RO system went great about a year ago. The RO system started beeping with a signal to replace the filter recently. We got about a year out of it, so I'm not unhappy with that at all. I called the company to see if I could purchase replacement filters from them or somewhere online. The woman who answered the phone said that she could not tell me where to order the filter or sell them to me and I had to pay for a service call for someone to come out and install a new filter for $200+. The filter couldn't be any easier to take out and put back in. No need to send a tech out to do this. I did some research online and the RO system they put in is a non-branded Chinese system that you basically can't get filters for in the US. I would have really liked to know that when I bought the system that I was forever locked into using them for maintenance on simple things like changing a filter. I'm better off at this point replacing my RO system with a brand new one that I can buy filters for. A new good quality system is around $400 and I am forced to pay $200 for a single replacement filter.
