I've been in Naples since 1993 and have used several HVAC companies. Some never got a call back because I knew that the tech got to pick the price he charged; others were mehhh, but stuff worked when they left, fine. BUT I somehow JUST discovered Family AC & Heating and will never call anyone else again. I have an older system; the motor died (attic edition) - they came within 24 hrs, took the time to get it covered under warranty; it was a specific motor they had to order, and it would take days, so they installed a temp motor that would cover the waiting period - no charge - for anything. A week later, they came with the new motor; I was charged only for that one motor's install - nothing else. A week later, the A/C wasn't working again - this time it was the handler outside. They came within 24 hours, discovered a wet frog had decided to perform an electrical conduit experiment on the capacitor, completely shorting it out... only charge? The part. They text a picture of the team member along with a lovely bio about them well before they come. The office team for scheduling? lovely. They are all extremely well-mannered (in a proud parent sort of way) and very well trained. They have ALL of my business now.

Update 7/30: They came back today to finalize the fixes from the previous visit, and do maintenance that I had signed up for all in one visit! Stanley (who was beyond friendly, absolutely the most helpful and I'd request again also)...not only did the maintenance, but explained that there was a way to route the A/C unit to the breaker in garage, saving us hundreds! He also showed me the rust on our A/C unit, explaining it wasn't maintained well, what could cause the rust, and also what it can do. He explained thoroughly that while we do not need to do anything "immediately" if we start to notice more issues, warm air, etc. happening more often, the fix is going to be a new unit (the rust can cause leaks, warm coolant, higher power bills, etc), and directly said when I asked "how much?" He said that Family Air is amazing, will work with us, and that it's not something to worry about right now - but make sure we continue the maintenance and keep an eye on it. I have so much respect for the honesty, the willingness by both team members to do the job well AND find ways to do it well while saving us (versus a money grab). I am BEYOND impressed with both technicians, the company, and the value's it clearly instills in its members to represent them. Couldn't be happier!
I found Family Air on Google after we had a power surge, and our A/C went out. They called first thing in the morning to tell me they'd be out between 11-1, then I received a text message with confirmation details, links to contact them/reach out. When the technician was on their way, I received not just a text confirming, but an entire biography on the technician, their background (and not just professionally, which I loved the extra something), and a photo of the technician themselves. Ricky was BEYOND kind and helpful. He went through everything, explained the issue with our condensor, why he believed it happened, what it would take to fix, cost and why it mattered. I had him take care of it, and while he was doing that, he then noticed the breaker was "dying" -- which was probably why the condenser blew because it was "working overtime", AND explained that it was definitely why our electric bill was insanely high. He told me he had called a "master technician" to walk him through everything, because he didn't have a breaker to replace in his truck. So the other technician showed him a workaround to bypass it so we could have cool air (thankfully!), and it would hold until it could be replaced. He replaced our air filters that we had on hand as well from the previous owners. He explained he would report back to his dispatch and they would reach out regarding the breaker replacement to schedule as well as the routine maintenance package I was interested in. He wasn't pushy, or tried to "upsell me" -- he even explained the pricing I received today covered the "diagnostic pricing."
I told Ricky that I was beyond impressed, that I would write a review and let his dispatch know how fantastic their customer service has been. I am in customer service myself, and I will tell you from minute one of calling them late at night I have been beyond impressed. They really don't "skimp" on the little things that matter, and don't treat people like wallets. They truly care about what they do. I'm so glad I called them - I even sent a picture of their information to my Mom and neighbor who aren't happy with their A/C companies. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
