  Tonia is great to work with! Knowledgeable, responsive, friendly, easy to work with and has great taste in offering selections! Had hard wood and tile floors installed. All craftsman were polite, professional, reliable and highly skilled. Excellent workmanship and outcomes. Customer service is definitely a focus. Highly recommend! Terrific experience!

  I hired D. Allen Flooring & Design recommended to me by my Realtor in Naples, FL. My experience in the beginning was very good and was pleased with their price quote to demolish and redo my master bedroom bathroom shower due to a leak. They were communicative and prompt in beginning the work understanding that I needed the work done a few days before year end as I had tenants that were going to be moving in for January 1st. Their price point was reasonable also. The work was supposed to take 5 business days (M-F). The work wasnt completely done by Friday which was okay and the gentleman who was finishing the work was to come in on Saturday morning to finish the work before I flew back out to Massachusetts. I stayed home that last Saturday of my vacation in Naples to allow the contractor in and he never showed up. My intention was the contractor would finish Saturday morning and I could clean the unit Saturday afternoon before flying out for the new tenants in January. Due to the contractor not showing up on Saturday as he was supposed to I couldn't clean the unit before departing meaning I had to pay for a cleaning person to come and clean the unit once the work was done. In addition, D. Allen took off the shower faucet and shower head to do the tile work in the shower and then didn't want to place it back and told me to hire a plumber after they removed them indicating it wasn't part of their job. Only when I voiced concern about it their contractor who did the shower tiling re-installed the faucet and shower head back in place. As a consumer if they took it off they should put it back. If a plumber wasn't needed to remove it then a plumber shouldn't be necessary to put it back in place. During the original demolition of the shower somehow they damaged a small amount of the wall of the bathroom that required painting and they refused to paint it after they created the issue indicating they don't do painting. If they hadn't damaged the corner wall it wouldn't have needed to be painted. I had to call my handyman to paint what they damaged costing me additional money but furthermore if I hadn't D. Allen wouldn't have either and the apartment wouldn't have been ready for the new tenants when they knew the deadline when I needed this bathroom completely turnkey for the next tenants. I voiced concern of this via email and the owner replied 1 week later after the tenants had already moved in - in January. If I had waited for a response we would've been past the deadline and tenants wouldn't have been able to move in. Customer service in the beginning was great but towards the end of the project it was not and no concession was made or offered for the delay due to their contractor not showing up on Saturday as advised, me having to pay a handyman to paint the bathroom for damage their demo team created, me having to voice concern that they didn't want to put back the shower faucet and shower head or me having to pay a cleaning lady to clean the apartment after the construction due to their delay otherwise I could've cleaned it. Worse was a 1 week response time to my concern via email and if I hadn't taken it upon myself to hire the handyman to paint then we would have missed the deadline and tenants wouldn't have been able to move in - in a timely manner. Unnecessary stress and additional expenses for the consumer without an apology.
