  Our recent experience with the service team was generally positive. The technicians provided great service and worked quickly to address our needs. Although the team was running behind schedule, they proactively contacted us to inform us of the delay. One aspect of the experience that was less satisfactory was the high service call fee. While it is understandable that commercial systems may involve larger units and potentially higher costs, it would be more reasonable if the fee was adjusted based on the size of the system being diagnosed, rather than applying a flat rate for all cases.

  Our AC went out, and this company diagnosed it as a failed T4 sensor and told us it would be a simple fix once the part was ordered. After waiting several days, we were told they couldn’t find the part, had never heard of our unit brand (iAire), and to contact the manufacturer. When I called iAire, they immediately confirmed the sensor is not proprietary and that generic replacements are compatible. These are cheap and widely available. Ranger told us they were not comfortable working on our unit and that we would need to find someone else. I’m frustrated that this was not communicated upfront, especially after we waited days in the Florida heat for answers. If the company is unwilling to service smaller brands or use generic parts, they should have told us during the initial visit instead of leaving us in limbo. When I tried to express any dissatisfaction with the situation, their phone rep repeatedly interrupted and talked over me, and I could barely get a sentence out. When I spoke with my fiancé later, he told me he had been treated the same way. I'm not happy with the poor communication, lack of service, and unwillingness to listen. They took our money and dropped us, gave us a headache, and now we will have to pay someone else to come and fix the issue. This was really poor customer service. They justified this by blaming everything on our "cheap, offbrand" unit and have made no attempt to make things right with us. They have not stood behind their own values. You can see from their responses to upset reviewers that they do not take ownership when they let their customers down and find any way to shift the responsibility for their mistakes. Shameful. We will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

  Awesome company! The owner came out to check out our problem, which I thought was rare for the owner to come out. He was very personable. .fantastic guy! Everyone in the company that we had contact with were very friendly and got us our answers/concerns immediately. The effort everyone put in saved us a ton of money! Ranger Air and Heat is now our go to A/C company! 10 out of 10 company...hands down!!

  Air conditioner wasn’t cooling. Scheduled an appointment online late Friday evening and Lucas arrived on time (a few minutes ahead even) on Sat morning. Diagnosis and repair were efficient and thorough. Veteran owned business always honors their military discount. Great work!

  I have used Ranger Air and Heat 3 times over the past few years to maintain and service my AC unit. They are trust worthy and reliable. This veteran owned and ran business is the only HVAC company I will use and highly recommend to anyone in need. A stressful situation of a broken AC unit, to up and running cold air in less than 24hrs, I couldn't be happier. Thank you again and God bless.
