  New system installed on Friday and failed to function twice on Saturday. Had difficulty getting Simone on the phone late Saturday, even though they advertise open 24 hours. System failed again Monday evening. I anticipated that it would be classified as an emergency but instead I was told that a technician would be out between 8am-8pm. Not what I expect from a Veteran-Owned Company.

  My system went down randomly after a power surge. 13 or old system works great. I told the tech I knew I would need to replace eventually but it wasn't an option now because I have vacation planed in 45 days. His diagnoses was to cut out, remove the EEV, replace and recharge to the tune of $2500. He said the EEV was stuck closed. Said a new system would be between 10k and 15k at least. A youtube search and a multimeter and I diagnosed it as the EEV control board, all other sensors Ohmed out within spec. Bought the board on ebay new in box, system runs fine. No $2500 EEV valve and overhaul needed just a fifty dollar ebay part. Nobody even wants to dig into the real problem on a system that's old, the auto response is that it needs to be replaced. Do your own homework and don't expect these guys to fix an old system.

  Had 3 different companies and J&W was the first one and had a feeling it was the right one.. After listening to 2 other companies I called back J&W to schedule the Installation for my A/C unit we just purchased. Today the a/c Fan on the outside unit failed, yes… 2 months old but things happens. Raul came today and replace it and got back the a/c running in no time.. so far so good.

  Justin helped us understand all aspects of a several options available for new HVAC system. Also answered all questions concerning financing available. Thanks for being truthful and honest. I'm reviewing our options and it's a high probability I will become a customer. Joe was very professional and understood our needs in repiping our whole home filter system. Suggestions on how we can accomplish it all. J&W is very military friendly and the work has been scheduled.
