  They will take your insurance check then ghost you. I have been trying for months to have someone call me back about the $4,213.80 from my insurance company that they have in an escrow account. I’ve sent multiple demand letters. Now I’m filing a formal complaint with Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation. Next a consumer complaint with the Florida Attorney General. Then filing a claim against their surety bond. Last step is the civil action to recover funds.

  No hay forma de contactar con ellos ni que te digan nada después que parecían hormigas con miel para cobrar el cheque de 41.000 excelente comunicación ,ya cobraron y nadie puede decirme cuando vendrán ,me hicieron sacar los carros de casa el mayo 7 y no vinieron su oficina cerrada sin personal,quedaron de venir mayo 8 A4 pm y nadie vino..en la BBB ESTA SUSPENDIDA SU ACREDITACION A ESPERA DE UNA DECISIÓN DESDE ABRIL 21/2026,EL EXTRESS QUE CARGO NO SE LO DESEO A NADIE DE HECHO TOME 2 SEMANAS SIN PAGO DE DESCANSO PARA PONER MI CASA LINDA y cada vez que llamo es alguien diferente me pone a la espera y me dice q me llamarán, otra que está lloviendo Y NO PUEDEN TRAER MATERIALES Y donde vivo no llueve hace 4 días..deben de someter queja AL SEGURO QUE LES PAGO , al BBB,AL DPTO DE AGRICULTURA Y SERVICIO AL CONSUMIDOR,AL DPTO NEGOCIO Y REGULACIONES PROFESIONALES Y BUSCAR HACER DEMANDA POR INCUMPLIMIENTO DE CONTRATO,QUE LINDO FUE LA COMUNICACIÓN HASTA COBRAR EL CHEQUE .AQUI REZANDO QUE MO LLUEVA PQ SE ME FILTRA EL TECHO Y HE TENIDO PERDIDAS HACE 1 AÑO

  This company gets one star since they did replace the roof, but their customer service is appalling. Our roof was replaced in 2024 when we first moved into our house. We noticed 6 or so months later (early 2025) that some shingles had manufacturer defects with bubbles forming. The company was contacted. They saw there was an issue and say we’ll have to go through the third party warranty company for them to do the work. We contacted Owen’s Corning and they say they need the contractors to remove a shingle to have a sample to see if they’ll cover it. We contact Fortress again and get no response. We eventually get a response and they say they’ll send someone out and take care of it. No one comes. This process repeats and repeats and repeats and here we are in mid 2026 with still the same defective shingles on our roof still contacting Fortress with no response. This company clearly does not want to honor the warranty they offer. This has been an appalling customer service experience. I would never recommend anyone use this company for their roofing.

  It took over a year from the time we processed our claim to the roof actually getting installed. In fact, multiple times I had to go their office to ask about when our work was going to get done. Our home actually went into a lien because it took so long. We had to spend $3,600 in hazard insurance because they wouldn’t complete the job. We actually hired a lawyer to get our money back because they kept kicking the can down the road. It finally took me going to the office and refusing to leave before someone would actually listen and come fix my roof. When they finally arrived and they worked on it, they left many issues on the trimming that still to this day, need fixed. They take forever and then blame it on past management, be aware of this company.

  We hired these guys! First they DON'T keep their word! They had me waiting from 8 AM till 2 PM! Never showed up! They charged me twice for (materials!) Supposedly they had "already purchased! I requested a copy of the receipt never got it! [They charged me twice] they DON'T answer their phone! Don't pick up calls! What kind of business does that!
