Mine was a smaller job and I am quite happy with it. Kaitlyn came out, did measurements, photos and gave me a rough estimate. After reviewing the photos, owner Brian called me to discuss which metal paneling would be appropriate giving consideration to the weight of steel vs aluminum on my older structure. The workers arrived on time, worked every minute they were here removing old roof and rusty screws, laying the new roof and cleaning up everything before they left. The lead man named Yevin was very particular and fussy measuring each panel and placement so that the overhang was balanced all the way around on my old structure; they really did a nice job. The whole team including Mgr Renee in the office were friendly and professional. I definetly would recommend their services to family and friends.
Advanced Aluminum helped me out of a very challenging roof replacement, and overall I would suggest their services for any aluminum work or repair. I was always responded to, had all my questions answered in full, and felt there was good oversight to the entire process. The full story below.
My roof on an investment property is not conventional - it has 8' on center aluminum rafters with corrugated metal underneath and an original pan style roof on top (laid down in a shiplap style, very odd and from the 80s). Fast forward past the insurance company holding me feet on the fire, I had to address the roof entirely and due to not having a conventional decking (plywood) system, my options were very limited. I spoke with 7 different roofing contractors and got very close on a 5-rib metal roof system but that didnt materialize. That contractor (Quality First Roofing) told me why they couldnt move forward and even refunded all deposits (Big thank you to them also). Quality first let me know about Brian at Advanced Aluminum and how they were the best option for me, and I didnt know about their capabilities or even considered their products as an option.
Once I connected with Brian, the plans quickly developed. I was very detailed in what I wanted and Brian and his team went to work. They produced engineered drawings with all details included and we worked out a scheduled. Some weather delays, material shortage, etc, all things out of either of our control played a part. However we both maintained communication, spoke of back up plans, and had the end goal in mind (his being to deliver a high-quality product and have a fulfilled customer, mine to get the insurance company of my you know what!!).
The install team worked professionally, cleaned up all the garbage daily, and answered any questions that I came up with on the spot. Nothing was left to the unknown for me. The end product was exactly what I not only needed but wanted. I also had a sky light replaced, and it made such a huge difference to the interior of the house. I couldnt be more appreciative and thankful.
Since I knew my roof was unconventional from the start, I planned for some job changes due to unforeseen issues but nothing (major) happened. At the end, the install team even rehung my gutters (which wasnt part of the scope of work) and tied everything in to the existing facia/soffit. The price was at the upper end of my budget but the end product delivered the value. The job inspection passed, documents were sent to all parties, and no detail was left unresolved.
Overall - 5 out of 5 stars.
We had a glass room addition installed by Advanced Aluminum and we’re thrilled with it. The guys were friendly, showed up when they were supposed to, and Renee was always helpful. Permitting took a little bit of time but we are over all very pleased.
I honestly do not know how this place stays in business. I'm usually a pretty easy going guy but I've never encountered a company like this. I needed my lanai screened. It was a small job but the job estimator was out that day. He gave me a price 4 days later that seemed reasonable so I told him to do it. The office called 3 different times to schedule the job but nobody ever showed up. Not even a call. I had to call them each time to get a new date. Not a big deal but we were not living in the house yet so I had to travel each time to meet the crew that never showed up. I finally had to threaten to cancel the job to get someone out to do the work. They did a OK job but the door was damaged and they said they would be out in a day or two to replace it. 2 weeks later no repair done. I called the office and was told someone would be out that day. No one showed up but I did receive a call from the installer saying he forgot and he would be there in the morning this is 5pm. So I guess we will see if anyone comes. I am so done with this company and would not recommend them to anyone well no show again and no call. 3 days later someone did show up and completed the job.

In 2004, I had Advanced Aluminum add a small room addition.
To say it was a horrible experience would be an understatement.
It was just one problem after another.
I recently was able to look up the details of my addition on the county permit search portal and it disclosed many issues (including several failed inspections) that were never reported to me during or after the construction.
Needless to say it explains all the problems that arose in the following years.
I called the owner several times when I started noticing the problems but got tired of all the back and forth and eventually just gave up and dealt with the problems as they arose. (There were many)
This came as both an emotional and monetary toll.
I am shocked that this company is still in existence.
