August 2020, I needed the carpets replaced in my Aunt’s Condo in Ormond Beach. Due to her health condition, I flew in from the West Coast and had limited time to complete the project. I found a family owned business, well established in the community and was local to my Aunt’s residence with good reviews. Rob, was my account rep, and he was efficient, professional and provided me with a quality carpet that was in stock and could be delivered within two days. THRILLED. In hindsight, had I known the Company sourced out their carpet installation to independent contractors, I would not had proceeded with the transaction. I was disappointed in the management in lack of follow-up regarding an issue and took five months to respond to the query. Unfortunately, I had to drive the situation and never received a direct phone call or email from the management staff.

Dick Stark Carpet One Floor and Home is an excellent company! I had a chance to work with Bill. Bill is GREAT! He went through the process of listening to my needs. Set me up with some samples to take home and view. Helped me with the proper selection for the area that I needed to cover and worked with me on my payment. The service was outstanding! After shopping around, no doubt I received excellent service with the highest quality for the best value. My flooring looks fabulous! Thank you Carpet One!
They did a tile install at our condo. We left and gave them a month to do the job. They left a huge mess of dust, grit, footprints, voids in the grout, and dripped adhesive all over the tile, walls, and furniture. Really obvious stuff. If they cleaned up at all it was done by a blind man. We sent photos as requested of the poor work and were told the owner would get involved and make it right. Two months later, nothing. They even added a non-quoted $300 charge for floor leveling w/o asking us first. We didn't complain. I guess being easygoing earns their contempt. The only reason this isn't one star is that the tile work is passable and not a total disaster, I was able to fix their errors after perhaps 15 hours of work. An hour extra spent on proper cleanup when things were still wet would have avoided this problem.
