  My garage door is a double wooden, HEAVY 40 year old gem. The motor and tracks weer replaced by BOSS 2 years ago and the auto reverse mechanism failed last Friday d/t a recent power failure and electrical surge that fried the excursion mechanism. AI said the part would retail at $50 to $150 (depending on model). I could not successfully trouble shoot but BOSS came out, diagnosed the issue, returned to their shop, brought back the part, installed it, reprogrammed my remotes, double and triple checked their work, tightened several lag screws, inspected all wiring, adjusted the springs all for less than $200!!!! ( 2 technicians x 2 hours, including parts). No up-sell, no BS, nothing but honest information. Meanwhile I had been "serviced" by A-1 Garage Door Co. (out of Orlando) and was told I had fried the mother board and that my wooden garage door was unsafe, that the fix for a basic, uninsulated, low cost door with new motor could be done for $6100!!!!!! Lots of BS, lots of safety concerns, lots of lies. BOSS deserves my (and your) trust. Service was competent, timely, professional and cost-effective. I always write truthful, honest reviews.   What great service. They showed up ahead of the scheduled time, clean and very professional. Everything was swept clean when the removed the old garage screen and the area clear of debris. The install was seamless as well and done beyond expectations. I would highly recommend them for all services.

  Donavan and Jimmy installed a garage screen for me today. Scott was excellent to work with from the office and during the initial estimate.   Love these guys…. First they maintained my old garage door until the very end and then installed a wonderful new door working around a vintage car. Timely, efficient and well mannered professionals. Plus it’s a family owned business!
