  I paid Sansone $477 for a camera inspection on a recurring main line clog, and the diagnosis was wrong. The technician marked the break under my driveway, and quoted $3,467 to dig up the driveway. He also kept insisting the cleanout at the street was an old septic system and refused to open it, saying the main lines ran a different direction than they actually do. I had the county come out. They opened that same cleanout (the standard city sewer cleanout marked “SEWER,” the same kind you see in front of homes all over Pompano Beach) and got into the line with no trouble. They also showed me the engineering drawings: the line runs about 5-8 feet away from my driveway, not under it. When I asked for the inspection video, they told me there isn’t one. Their answer was to send another tech. I’ve asked for a refund and am using a different plumber. Get a second opinion before you let them dig.

  🚨 UNACCEPTABLE: 9 Failed Attempts to Fix a Brand New Unit I purchased a brand-new AC system from Sansone in February, and it has been leaking water directly into my air intake ever since the day it was installed. Over the last 9 months, I have given Sansone the opportunity to fix their installation approximately 9 separate times. Every single time, they send a tech who applies a temporary band-aid rather than sending a supervisor to diagnose the actual structural defect—like an unlevel system, a cracked internal drain pan, or incorrect static pressure. Leaving an air intake saturated with standing water for 9 months is a massive property damage and mold risk. Sansone has completely failed to honor their installation warranty, and management has failed to step in and fix this. Save yourself the immense headache and use a different company that knows how to properly install a system If I could give them a half star I would!

  Caleb was fantastic! He showed up early and I explained the situation with my AC. Before I knew it, he had found the remedy - the condenser coil drainage system was clogged. He actually showed me the clogged pipe and cleared it, showing me what was blocking it. While doing his maintenance check, through his diagnostics he realized the capacitor wasn't working at 100% efficiency and with my contract he replaced it free of charge, parts and labor included. He explained other options I could purchase but was never pushy - I declined for now, but I did end up purchasing the twice-a-year maintenance agreement because of his great service. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. You have a good employee there. And he loved my dog! Thank you, Caleb! • Keith Thomas

  Casey Austin did my water heater flush, explained every step of the process, answered all my questions, and suggested the next maintenance steps to ensure a longer life for my water heater. I think the job was overpriced, but it is not Casey's fault. Update: after Casey, on the same day, another Sansone technician came to replace my AC condensation drain pipe. When he finished, the pipe did not look bad, but an hour later I ran my hand over the place where it had been dripping before, it was dripping again! I was furious, and you would be too if you paid $380 for less than 3 feet of plastic pipe. I called Sansone, vented my frustration, and asked for somebody more experienced and diligent to be sent the next day. I was so lucky that the person who came was Joy Rodriguez! He looked at the job done the day before, took it all apart, and redid the whole job; plus, he fastened the pipe to the wall and positioned it to have a small slope for an easy flow of condensation water. Needless to say, there hasn't been any leak since. Hats off and my huge respect to Joy Rodriguez!
