  Watts went above and beyond and exceeded all expectations on servicing our HVAC system at our Florida home! And the service technician Sha’nya was very talented, efficient and knowledgeable in the work it needed.

  Nedd explained clearly what the problem was and how much the service to fix it was and then completed the service and then checked out the other unit to let us know what kind of shape it was in. All in all a good service call.

  I can’t thank you enough your professionalism exceeds the others that are out there the technician was truly amazing and kept me informed throughout the whole process, the price for fixing our unit was very fair, the only concern I had and I guess we all have to get used to it is the after hours AI I’m truly not a fan of this I’d rather speak to a live person Thank you for letting give my input Sincerely James R Brigham

  I hired Watts AC Plumbing and Electric ON 6/14/2026 based on their advertised web site for supporting the local community and for being in business since 1979. The license holder is Leonard Watts. He must also be retired but still allows his license to be used even though he never once showed up to the work site to see why 19 times technicians had responded in the 38 days this project has been going on. If you were thinking of contracting Watts AC, you better have some knowledge of AC and Electrical because these guys don’t. The work to be done was installing a Mitsubishi 42K 4 zone mini split and keep my old but working Central AC as a back-up. Hiring this contractor was the worst mistake I ever made. Some of the issues needing corrections include: 1. Most importantly NO NOC or Permit was ever applied for UNTIL AFTER the work was completed. I don’t know why Polk County or Winter Haven tolerated this but I am glad. 2. The installer cut an AC electrical supply line while drilling a hole in my wall for the Head unit and tried repairing it with electrical tape, and placing the head unit to cover up the repair but I noticed demanded an electrician to Drop in a new line. The electrician used an 8-gauge wire for the new line. 3. The electrician expected that the 8-gauge wire and a 30amp garage breaker would be sufficient to power two AC units so I spoke to their manager and he sent another Electrician who spent no longer then 5 minutes and stated everything was good. 4. After complaining about the Electrical issue another Electrician finally was sent and replaced the 8-gauge wire with a 4-gauge wire and added an 80 Amp break to the supply only after mentioning that the electrical work won’t pass inspection. There are other issues I haven’t mentioned but the major ones are what I focused on. I do have some knowledge of both HVAC and Electrical and I am GRATIFUL I do. I hope Watts AC past customers that had AC’s installed never had any of the major issues that I went through but I doubt I’m not the first.

  Tried to steal $1800 from me. Told me my condenser fan motor was dead, which was just recently replaced by WATTS A/C. Also told me my board was probably fried and my capacitor was bad. 1 of those things was true, the last one, which I fixed for $24 and free over night delivery from home depot. A/c is up and running well. I will never use them again. When the Scottish family owned it, it was a very fair and honest company. I recommend shopping around if your not handy. He though I was just a stupid old girl. I was raised by an Aerospace engineer. Hope that makes you think twice about using these losers. I will be reporting this. I wasted $50 on expedited shipping for a fan motor to be delivered that I don't need. Not to mention the $240 for the part which i was much happier to pay then $1800. But, I still wasted my money on a part i dont need and dont want to pay the return shipping. Shame on you. I will be expecting to be reimbursed. Hope this decreases your business significantly. As you can see in the photos, the temp is coming down nicely. I have a large 3800 sq ft home so it's coming down fast. Beware of this company folks, we get ripped off enough as it is. We should all be helping each other by being fair and honest. Thank you
