Avoid Green Air Group – Professional Negligence and Code Violations Writing this review as final resort after exhausting other professional avenues to resolve a serious matter with Green Air Group, LLC. Despite multiple emails, formal letters sent by post, and numerous phone calls to Service Manager Karl Carroll, the company has ignored my requests to address a catastrophic installation failure at my Santa Rosa Beach property. On June 7, 2026, my home suffered severe water damage due to a disconnected HVAC condensation pipe. This occurred while the system was under a "4-Month Drain Line Guarantee" provided by Green Air. When I brought in an independent HVAC expert to evaluate the damage, it was discovered that the pipe connection was a "dry-fit"—meaning it was never properly primed or solvent-welded as required by FBC Plumbing Code, Section 314.2.2. Essentially, the pipe was never properly fused, creating a latent defect hidden behind my drywall that was destined to fail. This is not an isolated incident with this company. Over the years, I have encountered a pattern of code-non-compliant work from Green Air, including: Initial Installation Omissions: In 2021, the system was installed without a mandatory fresh air damper (violating FBC/ASHRAE 62.2), which led to a high-humidity environment that damaged my home and forced me to pay for retroactive corrections. Mechanical Degradation: The resulting environmental issues caused premature evaporator coil failure, leading to further unnecessary costs. I have provided Green Air with expert assessments and photographic evidence confirming these installation errors. Despite the clear evidence and the fact that these are code violations, the company refuses to respond or accept responsibility for the resulting water mitigation and repair costs. If you are considering Green Air Group for your HVAC needs, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. Their failure to adhere to basic building codes and their complete lack of corporate accountability—especially when their workmanship leads to property damage—is unacceptable. I am now forced to pursue legal and regulatory remedies to recover the costs of repairing their substandard work.

  My sincerest thanks to Michael Smith and Green Air. We had an AC issue that we came home to early evening to an extremely heated home. Green Air staff responded after hours and called personally to check on. The issue was fixed by lunch the next day. All of the service staff including Michael and Lei were extremely friendly, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Thank you so much!!
