- PNPaul Neatrour1 day ago1.0On Aug 25 2025 Gulf Shore Cooling, Fort Myers FL and Cape Coral FL installed a new duct system in our home. It was a 1 day project with 6 guys working. 8 months later on April 28, 2026 our maintenance AC company came to do a routine service ( we did not use Gulf Shore because their maintenance is significantly higher). The AC rep asked is a permit had been pulled- our response was "not sure". He then told us there was no mastic applied to the new duct work. He explained this would cause leakage and is REQUIRED in all areas of Florida. I called Gulf Shore. On April 30, 2026 a technician from Gulf Shore worked for 4 hours applying the required mastic . I also asked about the required permit. I was told that somehow it was overlooked and nobody came out to inspect the final job. 8 months! Beware

Interaction with the office was good too. Price seemed high, but I did not shop around because I wanted to get it done. Overall 5 stars for Jerry, Angel, and for the company.
