  I’ve been looking for a good/ reliable AC service company in Fort Myers and I read the reviews on Certified Heating and Cooling which were all excellent. I contacted them and scheduled a service for today. The tech, Preston, was amazing, he explained exactly what he was going to do, walked me through the process of taking care of my AC and was very professional. Preston was here for about 2 hours and did a thorough inspection and cleaning of my AC system. After he went through the entire system he made some recommendations I may need in the future but mostly taking a preventative approach. I’ve dealt with many AC companies in Florida and New York and I’ve got to say Certified was by far the best one I have used and the price for annual service was very reasonable so I signed up immediately. I also recommended Certified to my neighbor and she’s having them service her system. Needless to say I highly recommend Certified Heating and Cooling for any issues with your system.   Our 20 year A/C unit decided to retire recently. We called Certified Heating and Cooling to check it out. Javier showed up right on time and did a completely thorough inspection and kept us informed during the process showing us problem areas where possible and photographs in areas my old body could not go. We had always had the unit under a maintenance program with various dealers and apparently wasted our money from the conditions Javier discovered. He prepared a couple of estimates for us. One being to try and extend the life of our old system for a bit longer, and one to replace the system. We looked hard at both and because of the age of the unit and the obsolete coolant it requires we went with the replacement. We finalized the paperwork with Javier and Lisa in the office ( so very helpful ) and we were so pleased to have the new unit installed two days later. We are pretty much lifetime residents in Lee County and it's obvious that temperatures are getting so high that a quality air conditioner and a quality service company are essential. We have found that with Certified Heating and Cooling and we recommend them highly for your HVAC needs. Update!- Garrett and Hector H. arrived as scheduled for our installation and did a fantastic job and we are enjoying beautiful cool air. Very professional at their tasks and the installation is excellent. When finished they cleaned up everything and explained our new system to us abd answered all our questions. We are so pleased with every step of this process.

  First of all, Certified Hearing and Cooling did a fantastic job, from start to finish, of successfully submitting and securing approval for us at all required levels through the HOA maze at Babcock Ranch for adding an AC Split to our garage!! That was so welcomed and appreciated!! An installation date was then set up quickly to accommodate our schedule. The day of service JC and Jody installed our AC Split and did an outstanding professional job!! In addition to their great work on the inside and outside of our garage, they were very courteous and their clean-up was amazing!! The AC in our garage is unbelievable!! We highly recommend this service team and plan to continue future service on our HVCA with this company!!!

  Our AC stopped working in the middle of the day on a Saturday. They had us scheduled immediately. They called with updates on the technicians ETA and he reached out with an ETA as he got closer. Justin K arrived at 9PM, immediately got to work, diagnosed the issue, and gave us a quote. He explained the issue, what caused it, and recommended next steps. He explained the itemized quote and let us know the "immediate need" items to get our AC back working that night, the things to do later, and the recommended additions. The pricing was reasonable and he offered the veterans discount. Justin was super knowledgeable about the systemand we appreciate his late visit and Certified for getting our AC back working!

  Bought new from them in April of 2021.Contract says 10 year parts and 10 year compressor warranty. We get a bill for $2286 with nothing broke out.There are 7 items listed (none being labor) and nothing broke down including labor.Tell us that they have to get the part, box the part, pay for the part, etc. and we get billed for that too.What kind of company that has been in business for 25 years has to pay for a $500 or $1000 part? Is their credit not that good or what? They tell us their guy was there 5 hours. They may be good but $457 an hour labor charge good? Spoke to 3 different people and they were all rude in their responses. Especially Lee.
