Focused, attentive, friendly, Roderick clearly knew what is needed for maintaining healthy AC systems and was the most efficient and thorough technician we’ve ever had from any company over forty years of FL AC maintenance.

Kevin came out today to service our two units in Babcock ranch. He was thorough and was quick to make sure everything was running as it should. Explained to me the differences in readings and where they are supposed to be. He made sure everything was within spec before leaving. We had another tech come out last week for a non cooling issue and wasn’t really the same level of service and didn’t really solve the problem. Kevin has us back on track. Thank you. Keep it the great work. Would have him serviced our house again.

Wesmy was great and did a wonderful job. I’ve had several issues with this air conditioner; this is the 3rd time in 4 years I’ve had to have Caloosa Cooling come work on the unit. This time it was the thermostat and I don’t understand why the thermostat isn’t covered u see the Warranty. Personally I think this whole system is a lemon. Seems like every 9 months it’s something wrong with it. The thermostat was over $400 which is a real gut punch but the technician was amazing.

Had Jailyn out today for an initial maintenance on our new home to stay within warranty. I know you wouldn’t expect a lot w a first visit on a new build, but he was prompt and punctual. Having done HVAC myself, I understand, and get, the “process.” So for me it comes down to tools, knowledge and do they ACTUALLY do it right. Jailyn is invested in himself (Fieldpiece tools to the core!) and DEFINITELY is a master at his craft. He still cleaned everything, cleared the drain line, proper pressure and temp tests and understands CFM’s vs sq ft. He was really laid back and fun to talk with and have in our home. Listen to me, if you call for a maintenance and want someone who has what it takes and does it right,…. Ask for Jailyn! This company, I’m sure, is grateful to have workers like this on their team. So far, extremely happy with todays visit and look forward to seein my guy in the future. Thanks again to Jailyn and Caloosa Cooling!

Very Disappointing! I Contacted Caloosa (original system installer) for a Trane warranty diagnostic visit on my 5-1/2 year old HVAC system ($130) on 7/22/2026 when it suddenly stopped working. The technician dispatched arrived the same day but was not trained or familiar with Trane inverter systems. After about 1 hour on the phone, a second tech arrived who was also clueless. After spending approximately 2 hours tinkering with the system, they concluded that the compressor and inverter control board were probably bad and handed me a $4200 warranty labor and shop supplies quote for repairing the system and left (the labor quoted is ~70% the cost of a new condenser unit) . They did not contact Trane FRP while on site, performan any detailed testing, or get authorization from Trane warranty center to order parts. When I authorized the repair the next day, they wanted 100% payment in advance and indicated that the final price could be much higher. About an hour after I authorized the repair, Saheid (Caloosa Service Manager) called and indicated that it was too much of a hassle working with Trane and that they would not agree to perform the repairs (Saheid suggested I find an actual Trane service provider with the knowledge and tools to work on my system even though they originally installed the system when my home was built.). Based upon this experience and feedback from some of my other neighbors that have attempted to use Caloosa for service, I would not recommend this company to anyone and I have shared my terrible Caloosa experience with Trane corporate so no one else who selects Trane equipment has to deal with this company. I give Caloosa 0 stars! Update 2025-07-28 Caloosa's reply is inaccurate. I did authorize the repair and instead of providing the payment link (I was not enthused about paying in advance but agreed to it) I received a call from the service manager stating that it was taking too much time to work with Trane and that they advised Caloosa to come back out to perform additional test and measurements that were never performed by the technicians during the first visit. He then stated that Caloosa would not agree to perform the warranty work on my system and suggested that I call an authorized Trane Service provider to get this warranty work done. Upon further research, I confirmed that Caloosa is not on Trane's list of authorized service providers AND it's technicians do not have any of the Trane recommended training or certifications for the equipment they installed in my home when it was built 5-1/2 years ago. I have since contacted an officially authorized Trane servicer who promptly came out and performed a very thorough warranty diagnostic that included looping in a Trane FRP technician and am having no problems getting these warranty repairs authorized and completed. Hopefully Trane & Neal (my builder) will steer future Trane customers clear of Caloosa in the future based upon Caloosa management's very unprofessional response and lack of support for equipment they installed.
