Worst service possible. I called yesterday to inquire about a whole house surge protector coupon that I had received. Had to wade through the idiocy of an AI agent who ultimately scheduled a free service tech inspection and estimate to arrive between 1:00 and 5:00. Stayed home rather than run a couple of needed errands. You guessed it - no one ever showed - wasted my entire afternoon. Inexcusable. Called this morning to lodge a complaint agent wanted to reschedule. No way I'm wasting another day.
Jeff did an awesome job getting the AC online. Troubleshot the system after the original diagnosis/fix seeing there was something still wrong. He stayed late and was professional and cordial the time. Turns out you should call the pros before you do YouTube fixes. My fault but Jeff came through to correct it. Thanks Jeff!
Riley McDaniel from Del-Air was great. I’d requested an emergency tech for my Lennox A/C as it stopped working after a thunderstorm. Riley was able to diagnose the issue quickly and got it up and running in no time. Thank you, Riley! Much appreciated.
That said, it took literally the whole day for Del-air (instead of 1-5hrs) to actually send someone despite the urgency of my request. Tbh, their automated AI system is a pain to deal with - it’s responsive but tries to take over the call and wouldn’t transfer me to customer service. I hope Del-air improves on their current system as well as response timing.

Last year, the main breaker for my AC unit in the garage kept tripping. Since this company was the HVAC contractor for my new home, I called them. They sent a technician who inspected the system and told me there was nothing wrong with the air conditioner — it was an electrical problem with the breaker.
I then paid their service fee and called an electrician. The electrician checked everything and told me the breaker was fine — the problem was with the AC unit. He charged me $125.
Not being a professional, I had no idea what to do next, so I called another HVAC company. They came out and replaced a bad capacitor for less than $70. That fixed the issue completely.
It’s ridiculous that this company’s technician couldn’t diagnose a simple capacitor failure, even after inspecting the system. Their misdiagnosis forced me to waste time and money calling an electrician and another company.
I later spoke with their manager about what happened. He told me to contact them if there was a problem, but when I called to explain the situation, they completely ignored me. No response, no follow-up, nothing.
This whole experience was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I would not recommend this company.
