  STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! After multiple issues, we are now being threatened by our local township for continuing to fail our inspection after almost a year! The township is telling us that we have continued to fail inspection and we will be fined!! This company could care less and keeps scheduling appointments with the township and then cancels them. We waited an entire day for an appointment and ONLY after we called them, did we find out that this company had canceled the appointment and NEVER bothered to call or contact us! We waited the entire day!!! Now they are trying to reschedule AGAIN with a date that we will not be here. There is NO END in site to this issue and no one there who even cares or responds! The most unprofessional company we have ever dealt with! We now have to get an attorney to help. RUN FAR from this company!

  We have had our Generac 32 KW GenerX for over 20 years. It has been very reliable, and we also have a yearly contract, that a technician comes once a year for a maintenance checkup. Other than replacing the Battery about every five years just as a precaution. We have only had one actual maintenance need on a single sensor which was repaired within two days by the technician. The Unit 32KW Unit with a 500# LP Tank supports completely, three air-conditioning and heating units, or our home, office and workshop. It Test runs every Sunday at 2:00pm for 10 minutes and Emails us when running. And would also notify us of any issues I would highly recommend a GenerX unit! I give the Unit a A+.

  I had my annual maintenance on my unit. Shortly after the Generac maintenance person left, I noticed that the in house temperature was rising. I checked the circuit breakers. They were all okay. The in house temperature rose from 73 to 79. I have 2 very sick people in the house. When the temperature reached 79, I felt some cool air out of the register. The temperature cooled to 73 degrees. The next day I called Generac to see if they had experienced this phenomena. I couldn't get the customer service rep to say yes or no. What I was told is to see if it happened again during the next generator test. I've had the generator unit for 2 years. During that time it had conducted numerous self tests. It never happened. The tests conducted after the maintenance is different. I got the feeling the rep was not fully responsive to my question. My problem was not with the maintenance technician, it was with the customer service representative.

  Patrick Samson came to our house to give an estimate We gave him copies of our Platte as approved by our county. He looked around our house and told us where he would put the generator and then the propane tanks, not one of the other estimators were going to place the equipment where he decided. I took it on myself to do the proper research and decided to call him and discuss it. He was rude and acted like he knew it all and started to argue with me. As I tried to explain to him the math he became very belligerent and refused to listen to my side. The written estimate looked like an 8th grader put it together. The only thing that i could understand was the bottom line cost. Nothing was itemized, there was jut a list of parts but no cost at all!! I expected a lot more for an item that was going to cost over $20K dollars! Needless to say his estimate was turned down. Which was a shame since this was the company we wanted to work with!

  I have been totally impressed with GenerX Generators and the personnel with whom I had contact. I dealt with the Bunnell, FL office and my first contact was with a salesperson named Ron Taylor. He was fabulous and very informative and helpful. My wife and I had several questions and our conversations with Ron stretched out for a couple of weeks. We had plenty of questions and Ron was extremely patient, informative and honest with us during the entire process. It is an expensive and important investment and we wanted to make sure we were making the right decision. After making our decision to contract with GenerX Generators, we received excellent service through the entire process and Ron was always there to help us with additional questions and information. Our next contact was with Theresa Mitchem in the office. She was very pleasant and professional in setting up the installation schedule and informing us about the process, the timeline and steps for completion, There were a few issues that concerned us and she was very helpful in resolving them quickly and efficiently. If she is an example of the customer service at GenerX Generators, the company is ABOVE AVERAGE. The installation crews were great and again they were pleasant, professional and efficient. They worked hard and each of them had a friendly and professional attitude and knew exactly what they were doing. They answered questions, performed their tasks and made everything looked good before they finished. We were shown how to operate the system, what to expect and how to contact the company if we had any questions or problems. There was one person from the installation crew that deserves special mention. Dustin was able to perform a task for me that was probably outside the normal installation process. I previously had a portable generator and a manual transfer switch that I had installed about 20 years prior. I had not idea how to disconnect it and being 77 years old, did not want to try to do it myself. Dustin had no problem in tackling the problem and in short order, had the old transfer switch removed and all the wiring connected to the proper places in the home circuit breaker panel. He then proceeded to do the work that he had come to accomplish. He and the crew worked very hard on a hot and humid Florida summer day. They completed the installation and even with gnats attacking them the entire time, they never complained or acted like it was work to them. When you are dripping wet with sweat, being attacked by the pesky little gnats and trying to complete a job it is normally difficult to keep a good attitude or a good sense of humor, but these men always had a good attitude and managed a smile when I came to check on them. I would recommend GenerX Generators to anyone considering making a decision in purchasing a generator. It is an excellent company with whom to do business.
