  Very disappointed with my recent experience with Mid-Florida AC. The installation of my current AC unit was done prior to my purchasing of the home and it is only a few years old. Despite this, I like to have yearly maintenance done to make sure everything is running as it should. This year I decided to try Mid-Florida AC due to them being a local company and because of their glowing reviews. After the tech initially came out to service the system, I started noticing intermittent dripping from the garage handler into the return plenum which had never happened before. I then had another tech come out that same night and he removed some buildup from the system, but the dripping continued periodically for the next few days. This prompted me to reach back out to Mid-Florida AC to have them come back and see what could be causing this issue. The same tech that initially performed the service returned and, from the moment he arrived, he was very rude and condescending, especially when answering questions I had about the maintenance that was done earlier in the week. He essentially proceeded to tell me that my system was poorly installed and that he doesn’t know what could be causing the dripping. He also proceeded to puncture a hole in the duct board above the handler to check the temperature and did not patch this before leaving. This was an issue I then had to deal with myself because air was leaking from this hole, even though he claimed “I’d be surprised if any air comes out of that hole.” He also threatened to charge me for the call because it wasn’t part of the initial maintenance even though he was called back for an issue stemming from something that started after he performed maintenance on the system. Overall, I was not happy with my experience with this company and will not be using them in the future. I’m also frustrated because, if this dripping continues, I will have to pay more money for someone else to come out and fix the issue that was not present prior to my service from Mid-Florida AC.

  Weve been a customer of Mid Florida A/C for over 20 years. Time and time again they provide nothing less than exceptional service wether it's semi annual maintenance or a service call when there's is a problem. They are quick to repsond and service is performed to the highest standad. Can't reccomend these guys enough. If you need service, maintenace, new A/c unit, give them a call. Be sure to ask about their maintenace contracts. They're affordable and save a lot of money in the end. If I remembr right the techs name was Matt and he was super.

  How silly to review our a/c company but Mid Florida has been our installation and maintenance friends for over 40 years. Living in Florida a dependable a/c company is not a luxury it is a necessity. We have always had the annual service contract just because we can depend on Mid Florida and every service makes my a/c look brand new and shiny while giving us assurance it is functioning perfectly. Kudos to our service tech yesterday, I don't know his name but he was great.

  BIG shout out to the guys at Mid-Florida AC for loving all over my pup! Jessie, Sal, Ed, and Chris made us smile. We caught them giving Mr. Guster lots of belly rubs! 🐾Mr. Guster got so much love today! 🦴 We have used this company for years and have always been happy. ❤️Thanks to Jessie, Sal, Ed, and Chris.
